The Volume of Canon pro mirrorless camera RUMOR raised significantly from last few months. The recent rumor surfaced over the web suggest that Canon sincerely working to expand the current mirrorless system cameras and lenses.
The upcoming APS-C based mirrorless camera may feature new sensor technology inside. As far as I know all the recently announced mirrorless camera limited to Hybrid CMOS AF sensor so the upcoming camera may be get Dual-Pixel CMOS AF sensors from Canon. That will sure increase the AF speed of the camera during still and video mode.
No word about 4K capability but rumors suggest that the next EOS M camera will have class leading video capability.

Canon today announced new EOS M2 camera, the newly announced EOS M2 features Hybrid CMOS AF II, the sensor is same as Canon SL1 / 100D DSLR and we agree with Canon that it will increase AF Speed 2.3 times faster compared to EOS M, now take a look at the detailed specification below
Based on specification comparison I must say that you will enjoy bit faster AF system, but the EOS M2 is just another regular update from Canon, It doesn’t fulfill my need’s or other EOS M users need, I recommend current EOS M users to wait for EOS M3, New users must buy the Canon EOS M2 camera.

Jon A T a dpreview forum member downloaded the latest version of Canon DPP (Digital Photo Professional Software) and found that the latest version of DPP support Canon EOS M2, According to our readers email (see here) Canon is almost ready to announce Canon EOS M2 and the entry level EOS M will arrive before Oct 25, 2013.

You can also change the settings of the image shot with the camera’s Auto Lighting Optimizer function. This function is compatible only with RAW images shot with EOS-1D X, EOS-1D C, EOS-1D Mark IV, EOS 5D Mark III, EOS 5D Mark II, EOS 6D, EOS 7D, EOS 70D, EOS 60D, EOS 50D, EOS REBEL T5i/700D, EOS REBEL SL1/100D, EOS REBEL T4i/650D, EOS REBEL T3i/600D, EOS REBEL T2i/550D, EOS REBEL T1i/500D, EOS REBEL T3/1100D, EOS M2 and EOS M.

We are the first one to tell you about upcoming Successor of EOS Mirrorless camera(s) (see here), Now according to some of our readers Canon will announce its new mirrorless camera possibly on 3rd week of Sep 2013. We are not confirmed about this rumor… take it as grain of salt.

We are the first one to tell you about upcoming EOS Mirrorless camera(s) (see here), now other websites also talking the same thing… today NorthLight(link) Images posted the following information
We’re told (thanks) that an EOS-M with the new dual pixel sensor won’t be shipping until after the 70D (September) and that a basic EOS-M upgrade with the 18MP sensor will precede it.
Also mentioned is a Canon version of a focal reducer being developed for EF lenses, this will be announced with the 20MP dual-pixel sensor version of the EOS-M.
This model is said to be aimed very much at full frame EOS users as a ‘pro-level’ camera, and will feature an optional full viewfinder.
So after stock clearance sale (see here and here) stores are ready to get next batch of EOS M camera, we will update you soon as we get any new information.
