We haven’t seen any major announcement from Nikon this year at CES show. well at CES Nikon was silent but we don’t expect Nikon we’re going to remain silent during the CP Plus event at march.

Nikon at CP+ Event March 2018
- Nikon mirrorless camera system announcement
Nikon will going to announce its APS-C sensor based DX format mirrorless camera during the CP Plus event or near about that. Thom Hogan (Nikon pro photographer) predict few month ago that Nikon will going to start its mirrorless announcement with APS-C mirrorless camera in the beginning of 2018 or may be CP+ event and after that during the September (Photokina 2018) we will going to see full-frame mirrorless system announcement with lenses.
- Nikon entry level DSLR Nikon D650
Nikon D650 announcement is overdue. The upcoming Nikon entry level DSLR will going to feature 4K and advance core specification. We, are confirmed Nikon will introduce 4K 24/30p in Nikon entry level fullframe DSLR camera D650.
We are almost confirmed that Nikon APS-C sensor based mirrorless camera as well as Nikon full frame entry level DSLR during the CP Plus event on march 2018.
Now the list you see below is the list of expected camera from Nikon that will going to arrive this year no time frame is fixed then answer and may happen during the month of March maybe in June of 2018.
Upcoming Camera from Nikon
- Nikon P1000 – Code Name N1622
Nikon Mega zoom camera update is overdue, Nikon skipped the update of Nikon P900 last year. Nikon P1000 is coming for sure, but its announcement may happen during the CP Plus event or maybe at June 2018. We have already seen 100 + compact zoom lens patent from Nikon so we are expecting next Nikon Mega zoom camera when going to carry 100X plus zoom lens or maybe 125X optical zoom lens as we have seen in the patent.
- Nikon D750 successor (Nikon D750 MK II / Nikon D760)
The name of the Nikon D750 successor is isn’t confirm yet. So, the upcoming camera name could be Nikon D750 mark 2 or Nikon D760. Nikon D750 was one of the most popular Camera among mid-range or semi Pro Shooters. And ofcourse one of the most sold full frame Nikon camera of all time. We are not expecting the announcement of Nikon D750 successor this March, but its announcement may happen during the month of June or September of 2018. We do believe that Nikon D 750 successor will going to carry advanced auto focusing system as of Nikon D5, as well as completely new 24 megapixel FX format sensor with the introduction of 4K video.
- Nikon D3500 – We are almost confirmed about the announcement of the Nikon entry level DSLR in 2018, but at the same time we also suspect that Nikon is delaying the camera to bring out some serious specification inside it. At the moment we can confirm one thing the camera will have 24 MP DX sensor inside it, the predecessor Nikon D3400 have a traditional contrast detect sensor.
- Nikon DL compacts
Re-announcement of Nikon DL compact is also possible this year but no time frame is expected at the moment.
So, these when our expectation with the Nikon. And we are almost confirmed that Nikon Mirrorless systems Announcement will going to happen during the CP Plus show. And also the Nikon entry level full frame DSLR announcement is overdue for a long time, so we are also expecting Nikon D650 announcement during the event.

The New Camera Exclusive – As we have already seen the Canon power zoom PZ-E1 adapter (Amazon) enables electronic zoom control for some Canon lenses in DSLRs. In a recent patent (2017.7.20) published by Canon, they are working on advance power zoom adapter for Mirrorless camera lenses. In the patent image we can clearly see camera shown in the image for reference doesn’t carry any Mirror inside, We do hope the next gen of power zoom adapters for mirrorless will carry more advance core specs.

Panasonic GH5s High ISO test with the Panasonic GH5s camera. We have done specification comparison review of both the camera aw while ago and we have also explained why Panasonic GH5s dropped the IS feature. Now, its time to compare the Panasonic GH5S camera for Panasonic GH5.
Panasonic GH5S vs Panasonic GH5 ISO 12800
In this sample image you can clearly see despite of having low resolution the Panasonic GH5S has 10 Megapixel sensor getting very clean images.
In Panasonic GH5 image you can see significant amount of noise is present but at the same time you are getting also with more details compared to the GH5s.
Panasonic GH5S vs Panasonic GH5 ISO 25600
Panasonic GH5S is able to maintain noise very effectively. The image captured by Panasonic GH5S showing minimal amount of noise at ISO 25600
Take a look at the image captured by the Panasonic GH5 camera at at ISO 25000. Panasonic GH5 showing a very high amount of noise at ISO 2500 and the image is completely useless. Panasonic GH5S camera is prove to be excellent tool still shooters as well as videographers / cinematographers.
But and then we have to say that Panasonic GH5S is missing the built-in image stabilization system so you have to get external image stabilizer support that is a gimble while shooting at low light conditions

As you already may know that X-RAW STUDIO update on Nov 2017 confirmed all us that Fuji X-H1 is coming. The update revealed hidden name Fuji X-H1 camera under the camera compatibility list. The X-RAW STUDIO is 100& compatiable with the X-H1 camera and now today we got confirmation about the arrival date of the camera.
Fuji X-H1 camera is coming on Feb 15, 2018. As usual we will see same 24 MP X-Trans III sensor inside the camera with introduction of buil-in IS system. Well we all have a this question in our mind, Why Image Stabilization is Missing Inside Panasonic GH5S ?
Panasonic announced Panasonic GH5S one of the best video centered mirrorless camera till date, and we all know that Panasonic image stabilization is just after Olympics OMD series (Olympus OMD E-M1 Mark II IS is best in the world). Panasonic GH5 camera features 5 Axis image stabilization with DUAL I.S support that synchronises with the lens based image stabilization and works parallely to keep give excellent support while you are working in low light conditions.
But why low light dedicated video camera missing image stabilization inside it ?
Before we begin let me tell you that the recently announced Panasonic GH5S camera features redesigned 10 Megapixel sensor with High ISO range starting from 80 to 204800. Not only that the Panasonic GH5S camera has become the first consumer camera to offer DCI 4K recording that is cinematic 4k recording which is better than the UHD 4K recording of the Panasonic GH5 camera. Also Dual native ISO so has been introduced which was present in the professional camcorders of Panasonic.
To process the low light videos and gives you a very clean output Panasonic GH 5S need enormous processing and increased sensor sensitivity
All this activity generate a lot of internal heat and that may affect the image or video quality when used for a longer period of time or during a hot day.
So, they have decided to put the sensor on solid object to sink up the sensor heat quickly. The floating sensor 5-axis IS module won’t tackle the sensor heat as effectively as the Sensor fixed sensor does with heat sink support. Hence to tackle the heat generated by the sensor possibly they have decided to remove IS system.
