 According to Jared Abrams(cinematographer based in Hollywood, California), canon will announce its new 4K S35 Video Camera on November 2011 with two options Canon EF and PL Mount, the Canon EF mount version will be available around 5K price range

 The blog36exp posted specification of up-coming Samsung R1 camera, but after sometime the post was deleted by the blog owner, according to blog36xp the samsung is looking forward to advanced camera users, the New Samsung R1 have same size as Canon G12 and the overall design / style of the camera similar to the Fuji X100.

 Sony first announced the F65 at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show in April, and the camera has already distinguished itself by offering superb resolution, incredible dynamic range and the truest color reproduction of any available camera, Now it is officially announced in Japan with a launched scheduled to January 2012 at price of $65,000 USD.
The F65 derives true 4K resolution – and beyond – at the point of image capture. “4K” resolution is 4096 x 2160, which is more than four times greater than the full HD (1920×1080) spec. Its unique 8K image sensor, with approximately 20 total megapixels, offers higher image fidelity than any other digital cinema production camera. With 16-bit Linear RAW File output capability, the F65 creates the gateway to an end-to-end 4K file-based mastering workflow.
With its latest enhancements and features, the F65′s capabilities now include:
• 14 stops High Dynamic Range with much wider color gamut
• Rotary shutter model (F65RS) to remove motion artifacts; four ND Filter built-in with rotary shutter.
• Wi-fi operation for remote control operation from tablet devices (including the Android-based Sony Tablet S and Apple iPad)
• HD-SDI output with viewing LUT for on-set monitoring with focus assist zoom
• 60 Minutes of 16 bit Linear RAW file recording onto a 1TB SRMemory card at 24FPS

 Canon 5D mark III coming on late November or 1st week of December, According to digicam.info canon will introduce the new 5D Mark III in Christmas season. No further information available about the specification, but the only thing that seems certain is that the processor will be the Digic V with 21 Megapixel resolution.

Nikon attempt to copy the Canon G12?
Nikon Finally try to improve its features on Nikon P7000 to compete with Canon G12, Nikon P7100 comes with Fully articulated 3″ LCD with 921,000 Screen dots , Nikon claim that they have managed to increase the overall speed of the camera, however the zoom lens, image sensor and other core specification remains same.
DxO lab tested both canon g12 and Nikon P7000 Sensor few days ago, see the result below
The Canon G12 have better sensor compared to Nikon P7000 and Nikon claim that both Nikon P7000 and Nikon P7100 have same image sensor.
Conclusion: Canon G12 is clear winner, Nikon should improve its old P7000 sensor to win the compact flagship war.
