According to latest rumors coming from veteran rumor mill Nikon is preparing to announce 2 full frame mirrorless camera. One of them will having a 24 megapixel or 28 megapixel full frame sensor and other camera will going to have a higher resolution full frame sensor possibly of 45/48 megapixels.
Nikon is set to announce two different Mirrorless camera having different sensors, we are putting here the first set of leaked specification, more to come
Nikon Mirrorless Rumored Specification
- Camera 1 Resolution
The camera which is set to compete against Sony A7III features 25 MP resolution (Effective pixels 25MP, Sensor photo detectors : 28 MP)
- Camera 2 Resolution
Second camera with high MP count features 45MP resolution (Effective pixels 46MP, Sensor photo detectors : 48 MP)
- 5-axis in-body stabilization
- 9 FPS Continuous Drive with AF
- EVF with 3.6MP
- Three Lenses coming with Nikon Mirroless camera, including a 24-70mm lenses.
- Pricing
The 45MP model will be around $4,000/€4,000 in a kit with the 24-70mm lens.
The 25MP model will be under $3,000/€3,000 (also with a lens).
Nikon Mirrorless Announcement on July 23rd ?
Based on the information we have, Nikon will going to announce its first Fullframe Mirrorless camera on end of July (possibly sometime around July 23rd) and the shipping of the camera will going to start from August last week.
Contradiction in Announcement Dates
Based on previous set of information, Nikon Mirrorless camera was rumored to arrive on September 2018 during the Photokina event. So, there is slight possiblity that we may see some kind of development announcement this month. However, all these set of information clearly indicates that Nikon Fullframe Mirrorless camera isn’t too far from us.
So that’s really very interesting information coming from the rumor Mills. We hope all these informations are true and finally we will going to see Nikon FF Mirrorless camera very Soon.

Nikon register a new camera and its name is Nikon A1000. At the time of registration in general we don’t get any details about camera expect its wireless modules. According to the registration documents, the wireless parts used inside the Coolpix A1000 digital camera is same as of keymission camera.

This camera is possibly the direct success of ultra popular Nikon Coolpix A camera with 16 megapixel DX format sensor announced few years back from now which is also discontinued. Or may be the Nikon A900 comapact camera announced a while ago.

Ok, we have the rumors that Nikon is working on a mirrorless camera that directly going to compete against the Sony A7 III mirrorless camera. We have already seen that Sony created or market sensation by announcing the Sony A7 III mirrorless camera, at the price of $2,000. We are getting a bunch of his specification that is better than today’s leading FF / APS-C DSLR available at same price range.
Latest Updates – Nikon Next Mirroless Camera
- According to sources of veteran Rumor Mill, Nikon is working on affordable mirrorless camera that is priced somewhere around $2,000 and will going to compete against the existing Sony A7 III Ultra popular mirrorless Camera.
- Sources also suggest that the upcoming camera will going to have features that never been seen before in any camera. Well that’s really interesting thing to look at because we have already seen and lots of patent that includes a curve sensor camera, camera with stacked CMOS sensor, fingerprint sensor and lenses that can detect your fingers moments [with bio-metric sensors] to do everything required [from Zoom-in to out also storing photographers ID while taking snap]. At the same time we have also seen Nikon is working on their own versions of DPAF sensors.

According to latest rumors coming from Rumor mills, Nikon is working with High-end compacts camera. After the success of Canon G7X series and Sony RX100 series compacts, Nikon wants to Jump in compacts business again. It’s really interesting to see Nikon will create a new compact series or they will re-launch DL series compacts again. One more important note, Nikon P900 is out-of-stock at most of the places, so we can expect P1000 announcement in next few months.

According to latest Rumors Nikon is preparing to discontinue is popular Nikon 1 series permanently. Well we have received reports earlier from Nomen Nescio, that Nikon is planning to expand the Nikon 1 series, we have received this info 2 years from now, so things generally change with time and its look like the information we have received wasn’t true. However we don’t have any official words from Nikon related to the discontinuation of Nikon 1 series cameras till now.

Nikon is preparing to announce entry level DSLR camera. According to anonymous sources the pipeline of old stock is on clearance mode specifically in Asian regions, and once it gets cleared we will see the next entry level DSLR camera from Nikon. However the announcement is 3-4months away from now, the entry level camera announcement may happen on August or Sep of 2018. Name isn’t confirmed yet, most probably we will see Nikon D3500. The Nikon D3500 camera is said to feature 24 MP Sensor, and Multi-CAM 4800DX 39-Point AF Sensor.
We do expect it should carry 4K video, but we don’t have any confirmation yet.We will update you soon as we get any new information.

Ok, before we begin let me tell you that just few days ago Nikon Japan representative confirmed in an interview that Nikon Mirrorless System will arrive on Spring of 2019.
But, Now we are receiving a conflicting information that Nikon is running on its early schedule and as we have published few months back, and a Major announcement of Mirrorless camera is expected just before the Photokina event starts. Japanese website SankeiBiz also confirmed a month ago that Nikon will pick overseas trade-show (Photokina) to announce its Pro-Mirrorless camera.
Nikon Mirrorless Before Photokina 2018
According to latest rumors Nikon is rumored to announce new Mirrorless camera Just before Photokina event starts. That clearly means either the Nikon Mirrorless camera is coming in September 2018 OR may be a bit early August 2018. The Shipment of the Mirrorless camera is rumored to start from October 2018. One months after the Photokina 2018 event.
Nikon Mirrorless with two New Lenses
One Fullframe Camera announcement is expected this year along with two new lenses and a F-mount adapter. After few months Nikon will add more lenses to its arsenal. Nikon is currently working on new FZ mount for its FF Mirrorless camera. However, the name of the mount isn’t confirmed yet.

PS: Tamron also said they are ready for Nikon and Canon Mirrorless system, I just hope Tamy will also announce the new 28-75mm F2.8 Lens for Nikon once the camera become official. So, we can have a cheaper alternative of standard zoom lens.
