Canon displayed future concept camera at CP+ show. I am highly disappointed by these concept toy camera since I was waiting to see something new from Canon. Canon Was more serious about their system cameras few years back, if you look at CP+ show at 2012 or 2014, Canon displayed a lot of system their system cameras at CP+ event.
Take a look at the Canon Future Concept cameras
The Camera looks to be similar to Google’s Clip cameras, as it’s designed to shoot automatically and then save it to your smartphone.
DO you remember Sony party Shot back from 2009 ? The camera is some work on similar principle be seeking multiple faces and perfect compositions to click on.

The Price of the upcoming Leica Q2 camera is $5,500 [approx], in EU its price €4,790. We have already published the core specification of the camera a while ago, now we have the price too. We are also the first website to compare the Leica Q2 vs Leica Q, And you can see the Leica made a major change in the core specification of the new camera. We have a brand new sensor, image processor and introduction of 4K video recording capability in Q series.

The core specification of the Leica Q2 is very impressive and I am really amazed to see, a Leica camera is able to deliver 10FPS burst rate despite of having a 47MP sensor inside.
In the beginning of 2018 Canon representatives told us that Canon will be Cannibalizing its DSLRs lineup of camera to promote Mirrorless sales. In past 7-8 Months we have witnessed the same, Canon is more busy in announcing new Mirrorless models. Most of the DSLRs are waiting for an update, we do wish Canon also put some attention in updating Canon APS-C Flagship and 5DS series camera.
BTW, in Canon strategy documents you can clearly see they have said
Canon concentrating management resources on Mirrorless.
We do hope that Canon should continue to put his attention of scheduled updates of DSLRs cameras. We will update you soon as we get any new information.
CIPA Report says camera sales are all time low this January 2019 [compared to previous year]. According to CIPA report the DSLR shipments are down 21.8%, mirrorless is down 14.8%, compacts are down 31.6%, lenses for smaller than 35mm cameras down 26.6%, lenses for 35mm cameras down 4.9%.
I am not able to believe, despite Canon and Nikon entry in the Fullframe Mirrorless Market the Mirrorless sales dipped upto 14.8% compared to 2019 January 2018 which is really scary.
People have more options right now, but still sales are going down.
