Canon EOS RX Professional Camera Confirmation

On the day of Canon 1DX Mark III camera development announcement, Canon representatives also confirmed that they are working on Canon next Pro FF Mirrorless camera and the upcoming camera will feature in-built body image stabilization and will also carry Dual card slot.

Take a look what they

“There’s a high-end EOS R in consideration,” said Canon UK’s product intelligence consultant, David Parry. “So we are considering bringing a high end EOS R to the market. “If we do, it will have dual card slots, it will be that sort of level, and under development is in-body image stabilization. So we are looking at this technology, it is in development with us.” (Digitalcameraworld)

Speaking to Canon UK’s David Parry, Photography Blog was told that the possible new full-frame mirrorless camera for professionals will have dual card slots and in-body image stabilisation, two features that the current range-topping EOS R model does not offer, and which have been very much in-demand from would-be owners. (Photographyblog)

It’s early days and very little is known about the new EOS R camera Canon will make, but in a recent meeting with Canon we were told that the company is looking into developing in-body stabilisation for its next EOS R model. The only other information we know at this stage is that it will be designed with dual card slots. (AP)

POWERFUL, FASTER AND RUGGED: CANON ANNOUNCES THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE EOS-1D X MARK III CAMERA

MELVILLE, N.Y., October 24, 2019 – Canon U.S.A. Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, today announced that its parent company, Canon Inc. is developing the highly anticipated Canon EOS-1D X Mark III Camera – the successor to the world-renowned and award-winning EOS-1D X Mark II. Ideal for sports and wildlife, the flagship DSLR is being engineered and designed using feedback from the worldwide community of EOS-1D X and EOS-1D X Mark II photographers. Continuing Canon’s rich heritage of creating first-rate optical products, the EOS-1D X Mark III offers an enhanced autofocus system, with dramatically improved still and video image quality and communication. When using this camera, professionals will have the confidence they will get ‘the shot’ and can deliver it at a competitive speed – faster than ever before – ideal for the increasingly fast-paced industry.

“The innovations put forth by the new EOS-1D X Mark III will set the new standard for professional DSLR cameras and further cement Canon’s commitment to its professional photographers,” said Kazuto Ogawa, president and chief operating officer, Canon U.S.A., Inc. “In developing the new camera, Canon listened to extensive user-feedback from professionals out in the field. The result is a camera that has evolved from its predecessor and maintained the overall quality that professional photographers have come to expect from the Canon EOS-1D series.”

Need for Speed

The Canon EOS-1D X Mark III will be blisteringly fast – offering exceptional precision, reliability, high-performance autofocus and subject tracking – providing photographers with a tool that will help to capture the shot they are chasing. The camera’s new autofocus algorithm will improve stability and tracking when using both the Optical Viewfinder and in Live View shooting mode, using Deep Learning Technology and adapting to help facilitate accurate focus tracking for every shot.

When using the optical viewfinder the camera will use a new autofocus sensor, with approximately 28 times the resolution in the center of the EOS-1D X Mark II. Offering the ability to autofocus in even brighter and darker situations than before and with greater precision, the camera will have a range of autofocus capabilities, which will enable the photographer to get their shot. In Live View mode, users will be able to make use of 525 AF areas using the Dual Pixel CMOS AF system will cover approximately 90×100 percent of the image sensor. The camera will support significantly faster frame rates with full AF and AE, using either the optical viewfinder (up to approximately 16fps mechanical shutter) or Live View (up to approximately 20fps mechanical or electronic shutter). Additionally, the camera’s dual CFexpress card slots will enable more than five times the RAW burst depth of its predecessor.

Powered to Dominate

The development of EOS-1D X Mark III is a clear example of Canon’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovative imaging products featuring optically excellent technology. The camera will support an all new, Canon-developed, CMOS sensor and DIGIC processor, that will deliver greater image quality, at even higher ISOs, with the ability to capture stills in 10-bit using the HEIF (High Efficiency Image File) file format. HEIF produces wider dynamic range and greater color representation compared to JPEG. The power of 4K resolution brings stories to life – shoot 4K videos including 4K60p with 10-bit 4:2:2 Canon Log internal recording.

Conveniently Connected

For professionals, content delivery is just as important as image capture – the EOS-1D X Mark III will make it easy, featuring built-in Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® low-energy connectivity in addition to GPS technology. To keep pace with ever-shortening deadlines, the camera will transfer data at more than twice[i] the speed of the EOS-1D X Mark II when using the built-in Ethernet connection, or the new optional wireless file transmitter – the WFT-E9, which is also compatible with Canon’s recently launched Cinema EOS C500 Mark II camera. Coupled with simpler network set-up the camera will greatly enhance the professional workflow.

A Familiar Feel with Improved Attributes

Existing EOS-1D series users will be familiar and comfortable handling the EOS-1D X Mark III allowing seamless navigation with trusted ergonomics – whilst the magnesium alloy body will offer the durability expected from Canon’s EOS-1D cameras. Professional photographers can trust the same impressive build-quality as the EOS-1D X Mark II – with phenomenal weather-sealing, standing up to harsh conditions, including wind, rain and humidity. With incredible low-light shooting capabilities, the camera will now feature select illuminated buttons that allow for precision operation in challenging, dark and dimly lit conditions.

The camera will also offer a new additional control for selecting AF points, built into the AF-ON button, allowing photographers to change AF points on-the-fly for the best composition – further helping to simplify their work. In addition, dramatically improved battery life – with the same LP-E19 – will allow professionals to shoot for longer periods of time, without having to change batteries, helping reduce the chance of missing a shot.

Fuji X-Pro3 Press Release

FUJIFILM INTRODUCES THE X-PRO3 – A RETURN TO THE CRAFT AND HEART OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Valhalla, New York, October 23, 2019 – FUJIFILM North America Corporation is pleased to announce the launch of the FUJIFILM X-Pro3, the latest rangefinder from the X Series range of mirrorless digital cameras, and perfect for photographers on the move who want top-level features, a low profile, and reliable durability.

Created with street photographers and photojournalists in mind, the features of the X- Pro3 are designed to keep the photographer focused on the subject. Its revolutionary hybrid OVF/EVF and hidden LCD touchscreen keeps the photographer in the moment, while its state-of-the-art imaging sensor and high-quality 4k video ensure spectacular results. X-Pro3 is a true photographer’s tool that combines all the feeling of film with all the ease and quality of digital.

The X-Pro3 is one of the most durable camera bodies in FUJIFILM camera history, thanks to the exterior use of titanium, known for its outstanding strength-to-weight ratio. Two color variations will be available with additional DuratectTM*1 (DR) surface- hardening technology for extra toughness and premium finish. The X-Pro3 uses the back illuminated 26.1MP X-TRANS CMOS 4 sensor and the X-Processor 4 image processing engine, first seen in the FUJIFILM X-T3 and then the FUJIFILM X-T30. Using this combination and new firmware, the phase-detection AF now works down to a luminance of -6EV; close to absolute darkness. Also new is CLASSIC Neg. Film Simulation mode, which is designed to simulate color negative film that was normally used for everyday snapshots.

More information about X-Pro3

New OVF/EVF Combination
Great photography is all about freezing natural moments in time and X-Pro3’s impressive hybrid viewfinder ensures you are always fully immersed in that moment, without influencing it. The optical viewfinder (OVF) uses a 0.5x magnification and parallax-correcting frame lines to provide an uninterrupted and true-to-life view of what’s in front of you. It also allows you to see outside the frame so that you are always ready to catch the approaching action. Additionally, the 3.69M-dot OLED electronic viewfinder (EVF) offers a fast and high-quality representation of exactly how your image will look, with a 1:5000 contrast ratio for excellent clarity. When combined, this industry-leading technology provides an outstanding picture, helping to capture the world exactly as it is being seen.

Hidden 180-Degree Tilt and Touchscreen
Every aspect of X-Pro3 has been designed for photographers who like to live in the moment, but none more so than its hidden 1.62M-dot, tilting LCD touchscreen. When the LCD is closed, all that can be viewed is a mini-display showing essential settings, removing the distraction of a full screen while shooting. With your mind and your eye always on the scene in front of you rather than the scene you’ve just shot, you can find a connection not just with your subject, but also with your art. If seeking the perfect moment is instinctive to you, then look no further than X-Pro3 as your tool.

Incredible Sensor, Processor, and AF Performance
Lying at the heart of X-Pro3 is its state-of-the-art X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and X-Processor 4 combination. This exceptional 26.1MP sensor uses a back-illuminated design to maximize quality and dynamic range, while its unique color filter array controls moiré and false color without the need for an optical, low-pass filter. Such outstanding imaging capability is complemented by the quad-core X-Processor 4. This powerful CPU not only ensures images are quickly and smoothly processed, but thanks to Fujifilm’s new algorithm, boosts AF performance with precision face and eye detection right down to -6EV.

Enhanced Body Design
X-Pro3’s timeless body design features a top and base plate constructed from titanium, which, despite being little more than half the density of stainless steel, is seven times more durable. In addition to classic black, the weather- sealed X-Pro3 is also available in DR Silver and DR Black, which utilize cold plasma technology for a scratch-resistant finish. This outstanding durability combines with a newly developed shutter release unit that ensures dependable precision and smoother, more responsive functionality to create a camera that can be relied upon to perform in nearly any situation.

Unparalleled Color Reproduction and Film Simulation Modes
Fujifilm’s legacy in color science has given it legendary status among image-makers across the world. During its 85 years in the industry, Fujifilm has been responsible for some of the most iconic photographic films in history. The exceptional knowledge gained has been poured into Fujifilm’s collection of 16 digital Film Simulation modes. This cutting-edge technology allows photographers to achieve stunning results straight out of camera and X-Pro3 introduces two exciting new additions to the Film Simulation mode collection: CLASSIC Neg. and MONOCHROMATIC Color.

The X Series’ first interchangeable lens camera, FUJIFILM X-Pro1, was released in February 2012, and its successor, FUJIFILM X-Pro2, debuted in March 2016 with vastly improved image quality and performance. The X-Pro Series has been embraced by many professional and enthusiast photographers who enjoy the classic rangefinder style, portability, and dials that enable intuitive operation. The X-Pro3 builds on the series’ legacy as the ultimate solution for photographers on the move who know the value of being in the moment.

The X-Pro3 camera will be offered with manufacturer’s suggested retail prices as follows:
$1,799.95 USD Black
$1,999.95 USD DR Black or DR Silver

$2,399.99 CAD Black
$2,699.99 CAD DR Black or DR Silver.

X-Pro3 is expected to go on sale in late Fall 2019. For more information, please visit https://fujifilm-x.com/en-us/x-pro3

Moreover, leveraging your camera body’s features* each delivers, throughout the frame, high resolution performance that maximizes the benefits of the latest high-megapixel cameras. You will experience an all-new mode of expression with these dynamic fixed focal wide- angle lenses.

Get closer to your subject. Enhanced close-focusing capability.

The MOD (Minimum Object Distance) for the 20mm, 24mm and 35mm is 0.11m, 0.12m and 0.15m (4.3, 4.7 and 5.9 in) respectively. Plus, the maximum magnification ratio for all three is 1:2 so you can fill the frame, even when shooting small objects. You’ll never again be frustrated because you cannot get close to an object while shooting. This remarkable performance allows users to create compositions that exploit dramatic perspective (closer subjects are larger, and distant ones are smaller). With a fast F/2.8 aperture you can produce a one-of- a-kind photo and leverage the beautifully blurred background bokeh

Extreme portability increases versatility and comfort

Designed to match light weight, full-frame mirrorless cameras. Overall length is just 64mm (2.5 in). They are comfortably portable, highly maneuverable and amazingly easy to use and compose. Because the overall length does not change when focusing, you can get as close to an object as you need to without fear of accidentally bumping the front element

Tamron lenses for Sony E-mount cameras are functional, versatile and fun!

These are just three of the many Tamron lenses for Sony E-mount cameras. Throughout the lineup you’ll find creative tools that help you enjoy the world of mirrorless cameras and a broader range of photographic possibilities. Small and light weight, they are definitively portable and can easily be all carried together as a complete set. For convenience sake, all of the lenses in the series have the same 67mm filter diameter. You can share the use of a single polarizing (or other) filter and avoid the aggravation of searching through lens caps when changing lenses.
*Tamron’s lineups for Sony E-mount cameras with 67mm filter diameter
-High-speed standard zoom lens 28-75mm F / 2.8 Di III RXD (Model A036)
-High-speed ultra wide-angle zoom lens 17-28mm F / 2.8 Di III RXD (Model A046)

Fuji X-Pro 3 Press Images and Full Details Leaked

Fuji X-Pro3 camera announcement about to happen soon. the press images of the camera and full press text available now. We will update you soon as we get more information about it.

Fuji X-Pro 3 More Details

The X-Pro3 uses the back illuminated 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and the X-Processor 4 image processing engine for superb image & 4K video quality and autofocus performance.

The X-Pro3 uses an improved algorithm to enable autofocus at the minimum luminance of -6EV, which is near pitch-darkness. The camera features a new HDR shooting function, which combines multiple continuously shot images of different exposure levels to expand the dynamic range. The tool, designed to recreate the vast dynamic range of light conditions that exist in nature, produces natural tones without causing exaggerated amplification of colour tones.

The camera handles multiple exposures of up to 9 frames in the Additive, Average, Comparative Bright or Comparative Dark mode to combine images taken from multiple viewpoints or at different times into a single image. You can apply different Film Simulation modes to each of the frames to create a multi-layered collage.

The exterior of the camera body is made of titanium, which gives the camera additional strength and corrosion resistance. It is combined with premium quality coating giving it a sleek, elegant appearance. The internal framework of the camera body is made from magnesium alloy. Weather sealing has been applied at 70 points to give the camera advanced dust and moisture resistance. The camera is also capable of operating in temperatures as low as -10Ž, allowing users to be on location and not having to worry about the weather.

The X-Pro3 for the first time has an AF range limiter function, which has been available only on a limited number of lenses until now. You can select from two preset values or use the focus ring to specify any focus range. This gives the focus preset function available to all XF lenses.

Users can switch between the optical viewfinder (OVF), which provides a constant view of your subject without any time lag, and the electronic viewfinder (EVF), which allows you to check exposure while you shoot. The EVF uses a 3.69-million-dot organic EL panel with advanced display performance. The organic EL panel boasts a high contrast ratio of over 1:5000 and the maximum luminance of 1500cd/m2 to display the finest details even in shadows and highlights. It also covers 97% of the sRGB colour space, giving more accurate colour reproduction.

EVF display options in the gBoosth performance mode now includes gSmoothness priorityh where a black frame is inserted between each of the frames at approx. 100fps to provide a smoother appearance with a minimal sense of residual images, giving an equivalent refresh rate of approx. 200fps. This option is recommended when you are taking pictures of fast moving subjects and need to track the erratic motion.

The camera also features the gElectronic Range Finderh function, in which a small EVF window is displayed within the OVF to help checking electronic settings. The EVF window displays live view, enlargement of an AF point and pictures taken, improving the usefulness of the OVF.

The 1.62-million-dot high-resolution tilting LCD touchscreen display, can flip approx. 180 degrees, allowing you to shoot from the hip, at ground level or with the camera above your head. The screen offers a wide angle of view and delivers high contrast yet natural colour reproduction to provide a clear and high quality view.

The rear 1.28-inch colour Memory LCD, protected with toughened glass, displays shooting settings regardless if the camera is turned on or not. The screen can be set in the gClassich mode which displays Film Simulation, white balance and other image settings reminiscent of film cameras, or in the gStandardh mode for displays shutter speed, ISO sensitivity, the number of remaining frames and other shooting settings in plain numbers and icons.

gCLASSIC Negh mode has been added to the Film Simulation function, which simulates colour negative film traditionally chosen for everyday snapshots. The colours, precisely controlled for each level of brightness, create a rich chromatic contrast to add extra definition to the image.

The Black & White adjustment function, originally introduced to the X-T3 and X-T30 to apply warm and cool tones to monochrome images, has been updated as the gMonochromatic Colourh function. The X-Pro3 now allows you to choose the key colour from a matrix of Warm / Cool tones and Magenta / Green hues, incorporating the rich gradation into your images to create photographs with a personal twist.

gClarity settingh has been included as an image quality parameter to complement the existing Highlight Tone, Shadow Tone and Sharpness. Texture and outlines of subject can be accentuated or softened while retaining gradation of colours to control the overall look of a picture.

The Grain Effect function, which simulates the photographic film, has been evolved so that you can adjust gstrengthh and gsizeh to attain a more precise control over graininess, instead of having just two options of gstrongh and gweakh graininess in previous models.

gHighlight Toneh and gShadow Toneh options, have been integrated into the gTonal Curveh setting so that you can intuitively adjust settings while checking the tonal curve.

Compatibility with 3rd party software has been improved so they can now read ratings given to pictures using the gRatingh function.

The functionality of the gQh quick menu has been improved. You can now choose the number of icons to be displayed in the menu from 16, 12, 8 or 4. gTransparenth has been added as a new background option, allowing you to change the settings but ensuring you wonft miss a photo opportunity.

The X-Pro3 has a USB Type-C port (USB3.1 Gen1), to charge the camerafs battery and transfer data.
