Nikon finally opens about their plan about the introduction of Mirrorless cameras. According to latest Nikon Manager interview Published at Japanese TV network NHK,
Development is underway, and we can expect to bring one to market by spring of next year.
Now, the spring period in Japan starts from 21 March to 21 June. So, we can expect the announcement of the camera before June 2019.
Earlier we all were expecting Nikon will announce it’s Mirrorless cameras in Photokina 2018 show. But, now its look like the announcement schedule of High-end Mirrorless cameras shifted for next year.
We will update you soon as we get any new information.

Finally we got some hints about the upcoming Olympus E-M5 mark III camera, according to the latest information we have the upcoming camera will have the same sensor as of the Olympus E-M1 Mark II camera. Take a look at the set of rumored specs of the upcoming Olympus E-M5 Mark III camera

Leica filed a trademark application for “Q2” few weeks ago according to the information we have from trusted Japanese sources. That clearly indicates Leica is actively working to bring up the successor of the Leica Q fullframe Mirrorless camera.
Leica Q was announced on Jun 2015, So we can expect the arrival of Leica Q2 camera at the end of 2018 Or they can pick up Photokina event for Leica Q2 announcement.
Leica Q was limited to Full HD Recording mode (Leica Q full specs at B&H), we do expect that Leica Q2 will get 4K video and L-log support which is already present inside the SL series camera. A decent core specs upgrade is also expected with improvement in AF speed of the camera. The original Q version was also mission external mic. port so this time we do expect Leica will add it to improve user experience while creating a pro video.

Canon 7D Mark III isn’t coming in the year of 2018 according to latest rumors coming from Canon rumor. The veteran rumor mill is talking about the refresh period of 7D series model and if we go over average number of days between each model than still 300 days left for next refresh.

1. Actual Reasons behind the Daley of Canon 7D Mark III ?
I am talking about is possible reason behind the delay of Canon APS-C DSLR flagship update. Well, in the beginning of the year Canon said they are more focused for Mirrorless cameras this year and finally its look like Canon is to Cannibalize Its DSLRs for Mirrorless, take a look what Canon said during an interview (via petapixel)
“actively roll out products for a growth market even if there is some cannibalization,” Canon Marketing Japan President Masahiro Sakata tells Nikkei.
cannibalize Meaning – use (a machine) as a source of spare parts for another, similar machine.
“cannibalizing two broken-down cars might provide spare parts to make one working car”
2. Canon putting More Attention on Mirrorless
It’s very clear that in 2018 Canon is putting more focus on High-end Mirrorless and at the same time they want to ignore their PRO DSLRs for a while to boom up Mirrorless sales, that’s what they picked a Mirrorless camera EOS M50 to introduce digic 8 image processor, 4K in APS-C and new file formats.
Although the Canon EOS M50 don’t feature DPAF support in 4K, because Canon said its price range isn’t allowing us to have DPAF with 4K in same model. It’s very clear that Canon saved its DPAF system in 4K for its flagship Mirrorless camera EOS M5 Mark II. So, we can expect a flagship camera mirrorless camera this year.
3. Canon 7D Mark II need an upgrade ?
It do need a big upgrade to compete against a year old Nikon D500, Sony A6500 and even Fuji X-T2. All these cameras feature better core specs than the Canon 7D II camera. Even the Canon 80D feature better sensor than 7D Mk II and EOS M50 arrived with a bundle of new features including new file formats and Digic 8 image processor. Well at this point no one knows except few people inside Canon when the 7D II is coming. But, the 7D Mk II sales number are are touching ground aka all time low based on the info available to us.
4. Jump to Mirrorless Ship
Well it’s all depend upon Canon when they want to announce their flagship DSLR camera. But if you look from larger perspective, before the arrival of Mirrorless makers Canon and Nikon were smoothly competing each other. But, now the scene is completely changed and due to aggressive core specs of Mirrorless cameras and reasonable price range, both DSLR makers Canon and Nikon losing the market share very rapidly.
According to a report published by Nikkei the DSLR sales dropped over 10% in Japan in 2017 while mirrorless sales are up by 30%. So, at least Canon want to Jump of Mirrorless Ship by Cannibalizing its DSLRs. And to add more features to Mirrorless cameras.
So at the end, its very clear that Canon 7D Mk III announcement is being delayed due to Canon new policy to bring Pro-Mirrorless cameras in lime-light.

Sony registered a new Mirrorless WW 771132 camera at wireless certification agency. Take a look the details reveled by the Japanese sources

So, at the moment we have very few details available about the upcoming camera. According to Japanese sources, the registered camera is a Mirrorless and not a compact, So that also indicates Sony RX100 VI isn’t coming anytime soon.

TNC Exclusive content – Fuji is working on smart dial buttons for future X-Series camera. The single smart mode dial button above the camera can be used to set shutter, exposure and ISO of the camera. As details reveled from the patent document, the smart mode dial button will have a touch display and every time when a users click the top of the display it automatically switch to different modes. A very impressive move by Fuji to bring such a feature inside the X-series camera.
In the image below you see the the different interface of same mode dial button, once you select the desired value (for example ISO 1600) and click on lock on center, you get the option to set shutter speed and so on.

Nikon mirrorless camera is mentioned at Japanese website SankeiBiz, According to the news website Nikon is working very fast on the development as well announcement of Nikon Mirrorless camera in current fiscal year (Before March 2019). But at the same time SankeiBiz also added that, according to sources Nikon will pick overseas trade show for Pro-Mirrorless system cameras.
