According to latest rumors surfaced over the web, Canon is planning to expand the Pro APS-C DSLR lineup by adding one more DSLR in between the Canon 90D and the Canon 7D mark III. From Canon latest trend of adding more APS-C DSLR series in the market the rumor look bit logical to us. However, the source of the rumor mill isn’t talking about the arrival time of these DSLRs.
Canon 77D DSLR successor of Canon 760D
From past few years, we have seen that Canon is trying to populate APS-C DSLRs category by giving us more and more options. For example, we have seen the addition of Canon 760D (and its successor Canon 77D). These set of DSLRs introduced to sit somewhere between the Canon 70D/ 80D series and the Rebel Series.
Similarly, last month Canon introduced and new entry level DSLR Canon 4000D in European and Asian region, which creates a new category of super affordable entry level DSLRs while using the canon most trusted (and outdated) 18 Megapixel sensor with contrast based AF.
As I said in the beginning of the article from past actions, it’s very clear that Canon may add more DSLRs to populate its Pro APS-C DSLR category.

Auto focusing system will be upgraded to 91-Point AF with 49 Phase-Detect Points. Same as of the Fuji X100F Camera. We don’t expect introduction of the 4K Mode inside Fuji x70 successor. Fuji XT100 is nothing but a extension of the existing XT series of camera. The new FUJINON GF250mmF4 R LM OIS WR lens will be available in Late May 2018 for USD $3,299.95 and CAD $4,124.99. According to latest rumors coming from the web, Canon next generation of tiltshift TS-E17mm F4L is coming in 2019. The lens is approx 10 years old now and waiting to be replaced.

Many rumor mills were expecting the arrival of the Sony A7S III camera during NAB 2018 show. But, as I always say… before the arrival of any camera we generally get some strong hints prior to it’s announcement. But, this time everything was completely dry and even trusted Japanese sources were completely silent.
One of the most interesting thing is Sony doesn’t have any new camera registered in the wireless certification agency. That also clearly indicates we will not going to see any new Mirrorless OR pro compact camera from Sony at least for next 2 to 3 months.

4. Sony RX100 VI
Delayed due to the announcement of RX10 IV last year, Sony RX100 VI is scheduled to arrive at the end of 2018 or may the beginning of 2019.
