Sigma today announce three new lenses for Canon, Nikon and Sigma Bodies.
The new 100-400mm lens Max aperture starts from F5-6.3. I was expecting a bit more bright lens from Sigma. The 100-400mm lens features Dust and Splash proof Construction. And weight over 1 Kg.  According to latest rumors the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 OS Art lens is expected to be announced sometime in February 2017. If such Lens announced by Sigma then for sure it will low down the sales graph of native 24-70mm F2.8 Cannikon lenses. As the information we have received a while ago that Canon is testing 24-70mm F2.8 IS Lenses. Still, the expected date of arrival is unknown. Whereas Nikon already have 24-70 F2.8 VR lens in it’s arsenal.

Sigma Finally in the mood to enter in the Cinema lens market, according to latest rumor coming from rumormill We may see Cinema Lenses from Sigma Soon. But the Big Question is when Sigma is ready to enter in the Cinema world ? at the moment we can expect to see development announcement of new products this September.
The Rumor is not New
The rumor is not new on July 18, 2014 In an interview to Resource Magazine Sigma CEO Kazuto Yamaki SILENCE hinted that they are working on Cinema Lenses
“How could one of the greatest innovators of lens technology in the world not be producing lenses for high-end digital video and motion picture cameras? With such high standards, cinematographers seem like a natural market for Sigma. When I asked Kazuto about this, he simply smiled and said the two words that make every tech writer crave more: “No comment.” It looks like Sigma may still has a few more tricks up their sleeve…”

Sigma is rumored to announce the 85 mm F1.4 art lens this September 2016 during the photokina event. According to the website photorumors the Sigma 85 MM 1.4 lens is currently being tested by the photographers around the world.

Canon 1dx mark 2 showing issues when paired with some specific Sigma ART lenses. The problem is not uncommon, according to the SLRlouge website who found the fix of the issue also added the problem was arising in Sigma 35mm ART and Sigma 85mm ART Lenses.
Why and when the problem occur ?
When you pair sigma lenses with your 1DX Mk2 camera you will notice some circular bands in your images, these unwanted circular bands appear due to the Auto Lens Aberration Correction algo inside the camera, the Lens Aberration Correction algorithm automatically corrects images when you capture a image with particular Canon lens. But Canon DSLRs automatically trun-off Aberration Correction when they spot a third-party lenses, unfortunately Canon 1DX Mark2 applying same Aberration Correction filter to Sigma 35mm and 85mm lens. Hence to avoid the issue you must follow these steps.
To Fix of the issue
The fix of the problem is very simple
- Locate the Lens Aberration Correction setting in the first menu on the 1DX MK II, and enter its sub-menu.
- Switch Peripheral Illum Corr to OFF
