Nikon finally working on DSLRs with Hybrid Sensors. We are the first website world who spotted Nikon DSLR with a Hybrid Sensor. In the patent (published on July 2018) you can see Nikon DSLR camera with a Hybrid AF Sensor which uses both Phase and Contrast based technology to acquire AF.
As you can see in the image below Nikon AF pixels are fabricated inside the sensor with light sensitive pixels. As you can see pair of pixels on the sensor are masked. And the strips of the pixels will allow the camera to compared the results to establish how out-of-phase they are. The technology look similar to Canon Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology.
Two sub pixels calculates the lens drive required to acquire AF. Take a look at the details of the patent translated below.

A camera system 1 includes: first focus detection means for detecting a focus adjustment state by using phase difference; second focus detection means for detecting the focus adjustment state on the basis of contrast; determination means for determining whether the focus adjustment state is detected by the first focus detection means or by the second focus detection means; and focus adjustment means for performing focus adjustment on the basis of detection result of the focus adjustment state by the focus detection means determined by the determination means. When the focus adjustment is continued after the focus adjustment is performed by the focus adjustment means to complete focusing, the first focus detection means is used.SELECTED DRAWING
It also indicates Future DSLR cameras such as Nikon D6, Nikon D7600 and Nikon D760 may carry Hybrid AF system inside.

According to the latest rumors, Sony is working on a high resolution 54 megapixel full frame stacked BSI CMOS sensor. The Sensor based on same architecture of Sony A6500 camera sensor.
In that post the source of the rumor mill also confirmed that the 26MP sensor being used inside the Fuji X-T3 camera is made by Sony.
We Already have a bunch of information related to Sony 60 megapixel full frame sensor [see here and here] that is rumored to be used inside Sony upcoming full frame mirrorless cameras. For the first time we are getting news about Sony 54 Megapixel fullframe CMOS sensor.
Sony will use 50+MP Sensor for Sony A7R IV
Despite of creating one of the best high-resolution full frame cameras in the market, Sony is still behind resolution of Canon 5ds R camera. So resolution wise Sony is still lagging behind Canon. And they need to overcome that.
There is a big possibility that Sony may use 54MP or 60MP Stacked CMOS sensor for their Sony A7R IV camera. It’s necessary for Sony to surpass the Canon 5DSR Resolution barrier and to become No.1 in competition.
We will update you soon as we get any new information.

Olympus 8K Mirrorless camera in Future RoadMap
It all started with Olympus, when the reveled their future strategy in their Annual Report of 2017. In an Annual report published by Olympus mentioned about the development of 8K video and PRO Lenses for their MFT lineup
Take a look at the important announcements made by Olympus back in 2017
1) Focus on the development of high-value-added mirrorless cameras (primarily OM-D series) and interchangeable lenses
(PRO series) boasting competitive prices
2) Develop systems that allow for improved efficiency in new product manufacturing start-ups and mass production by
transferring production to Vietnam
3) Establish comprehensive range of technologies for 4K and 8K video, development of devices necessary for recording at
these resolutions, and optimization of interface with outputs (monitors)
So, competition is always very healthy and consumers will get advantage of it. But at the same time are we ready for 8K on our camera. Since we need high speed processing computers and 8K display units.
