Nikon Finally announced the ultra Megazoom camera Nikon P1000 (B&H and Amazon.com)today while having a massive zoom range 24-3000mm, the incredible camera features 125 x optical zoom and 16 Megapixel sensor with ISO sensitivity up to ISO 6400. The camera shoots 4K video at 30 frames per second, the camera and also gives you RAW MODE which was not possible in the earlier versions of the Nikon p series camera.
Nikon p1000 camera is one of the most awaited in Nikon Mega zoom camera, and currently there are no competitors in the market which are able to cross even 80x zoom mark from their compact camps.
The sample images of the camera look really very good, Most importantly that details are not lost despite having such a massive zoom lens.

We have received a lot of hints in the past, that Canon is going to announce its Mirrorless system camera in Photokina Event or at least we will see a development announcement from Canon related to FF Mirrorless camera. Let’s take a look at detailed set of information we have related to Canon FF Mirrorless camera
1. Canon Fullframe Mirrorless Announcement Timeline
- From the information we are getting we are getting Canon will have a big announcement this year on or before Photokina and the shipment of the camera will start from November.
- One More Mirrorless system camera from Canon is said to arrive in Q2/Q3 of next year. with lower end specs and affordable price tag to reach out more consumers
Ok that was announcement time information. Let’s talk about the rumors coming from different rumor mills.
We have received confirmed set of information that Nikon is set to announce its Mirrorless camera this month, In past we have seen these two Camera giants announces their flagship products almost same timeline. Let’s see what happens next.
2. What Sony Said about Canikon Mirrorless systems in Past
This is just my personal opinion, but I think that maybe by next year’s CP+ ( starts from Feb 28, 2019) you’ll see full-frame mirrorless cameras from Canon and Nikon. I think [by then] they will be participating in this market.

4. It’ not about sources, the data was arrived from Registration agency
One of the Mirrorless camera arrived at wireless certification agency was having a 30MP Fullframe sensor (check details here). So, we have a big chance to have a 30MP model in near future.
5. Let’s break down information
- One camera with 30 MP sensor and other with 24 MP sensor
- Both camera shoot 4K and have best video features [as usual]
- Only Two FF camera registered and 1 APS-C, 90% possibility its a successor of EOS M5 camera, name EOS M5 Mark II.
Just before the announcement of any camera in general before a month we get images and specs. But, after July, literally we have only 1 month left for Photokina and that’s really scary when your information pipelines remains dry.
That’s why probably veteran rumor mills are predicting in dealy of announcement dates.

According to latest rumors coming from veteran rumor mill Nikon is preparing to announce 2 full frame mirrorless camera. One of them will having a 24 megapixel or 28 megapixel full frame sensor and other camera will going to have a higher resolution full frame sensor possibly of 45/48 megapixels.
Nikon is set to announce two different Mirrorless camera having different sensors, we are putting here the first set of leaked specification, more to come
Nikon Mirrorless Rumored Specification
- Camera 1 Resolution
The camera which is set to compete against Sony A7III features 25 MP resolution (Effective pixels 25MP, Sensor photo detectors : 28 MP)
- Camera 2 Resolution
Second camera with high MP count features 45MP resolution (Effective pixels 46MP, Sensor photo detectors : 48 MP)
- 5-axis in-body stabilization
- 9 FPS Continuous Drive with AF
- EVF with 3.6MP
- Three Lenses coming with Nikon Mirroless camera, including a 24-70mm lenses.
- Pricing
The 45MP model will be around $4,000/€4,000 in a kit with the 24-70mm lens.
The 25MP model will be under $3,000/€3,000 (also with a lens).
Nikon Mirrorless Announcement on July 23rd ?
Based on the information we have, Nikon will going to announce its first Fullframe Mirrorless camera on end of July (possibly sometime around July 23rd) and the shipping of the camera will going to start from August last week.
Contradiction in Announcement Dates
Based on previous set of information, Nikon Mirrorless camera was rumored to arrive on September 2018 during the Photokina event. So, there is slight possiblity that we may see some kind of development announcement this month. However, all these set of information clearly indicates that Nikon Fullframe Mirrorless camera isn’t too far from us.
So that’s really very interesting information coming from the rumor Mills. We hope all these informations are true and finally we will going to see Nikon FF Mirrorless camera very Soon.

 Latest update coming from trusted Japanese sources Nikon and 1701 and and 1711 registration details are updated and according to the latest information both camera are using EN-EL15a battery. Nikon D650 Arrival Confirmation ?
We all know that Nikon D650 camera is 4+ year old, completely outdated and desperately waiting to be replaced. Surprisingly Nikon D750 sales volume is still good according to online retailers. And if Nikon goes on schedule update of their DSLRs as they have done in past, then for sure Nikon D650 announcement is next few months. We will not going to talk much about the core specification of the upcoming camera but for sure we will going to see introduction of 4K Videos in Nikon entry level DSLRs. It’s already too late but as they say, better late than never. Hybrid Sensor in DSLR? Well Nikon is working on their own customized versions of DualPixel CMOS AF sensors as we have seen the recent patents, So it is possible that we may see Nikon first Hybrid Sensor based DSLR soon or they will save Hybrid sensors for upcoming Fullframe Mirrorless cameras. It all depend upon Nikon. 
Other Possibility – Nikon Fullframe Mirrorless ?
It may be possible these two or possibly one of them are mirrorless model, and they will going to use similar batteries EN-EL15a as power source. As we are getting continuous set of information from past that Nikon is gearing up announce their first Fullframe Mirrorless models this September, on or just prior to Photokina event.

We know Light 16 camera from a while. The light L16 camera was made with 16 independent camera module in a compact body to create DSLR like out of focus performance. Literally it was being called a true DSLR killer.
 Light L16 camera at 100% – 16 camera modules merging capability isn’t flawless at moment. However the camera received a mixed response from the market and pixel peeper group wasn’t so happy with the file merging capability of the camera. Of-course it will become better with time and firmware updates.
Do you Know Canon is also working on L16 type camera
Now, According to latest news the light L16 company is developing a smartphone that could have 9 camera module on the rear side.
That’s really interesting because the L16 compact camera have a 16 set of camera modules and the smartphone that is expected to arrive at the end of 2018 is said to have nine independent camera module inside which is of course look far advance than today’s 3 camera module based smartphones.
But, at the same time the camera isn’t so cheap and we are also expecting the smartphone will going to be very expensive and out of reach for general smartphone consumers.
But that’s all really nice moves to upscale the computational photography to a next level, and once light launches smartphone in market. Then many other smartphone makers will going to create similar solution and affordable price tags to beat it. As we have generally seen in the smartphone market when a particular company address a new feature inside smartphone, other manufacturers also copy they accept by lowering down the price to compete against each other.
Well that’s important news to me because the smartphone camera market is now getting more serious day by day. And if light enters into smartphones section then yes I will even interested in buying one [if my pocket allows].
Being said that I also expect that in near future with the improvement in computational photography Technology will going to attract professional shooters to compact solutions.

Kodak AZ901 90x zoom camera is finally available at B and H store and amazon.com. The Kodak 90X Astro zoom camera was announced back on January 2016 at CES event, the camera features world largest compact zoom lens of 90x. Even bigger than the current Nikon 83X optical Zoom Camera Nikon P900.
The camera features at 20 Megapixel 1 / 2.3 inch BSI CMOS sensor, you also get a variable tilting LCD display monitor and electronic viewfinder. The camera records full HD videos 30 frames per second and the bigh ISO range of the camera goes up to 3200.
The 90x optical zoom lens also have optical image stabilization system, you also get built-in Wi-Fi support for wireless image transfer as well as raw recording support is also available with this camera.
