Nikon registered a new camera at Russian wireless certification agency, the code name of the camera is N1718. We have the detailed list of Nikon camera registered at wireless specification agency. In the list you can clearly see that there 4 different cameras are waiting to be announced.
 As we all know that Nikon N1622 camera was rumored to be Nikon P900 successor aka Nikon P1000 camera. Since, the Nikon Chinese compact manufacturing unit closed last year the production of the N1622 shifted to Thailand.
Now we have Nikon D650 and Nikon D760 overdue for an announcement. Also, rumors suggest that Nikon High-end Mirrorless camera is also on announcement pipeline and we are expecting its announcement in near future.

Nikon is working on curved sensor camera and this is not new, we have published a patent back in 2016 that was showing a curved image sensor patent by Nikon. In a recent patent document revealed by patent Hunter blog we can clearly see that Nikon is working on a 20mm full frame lens made for curved sensor camera by having a aperture of 2.0.

Ok, before we begin let me tell you that just few days ago Nikon Japan representative confirmed in an interview that Nikon Mirrorless System will arrive on Spring of 2019.
But, Now we are receiving a conflicting information that Nikon is running on its early schedule and as we have published few months back, and a Major announcement of Mirrorless camera is expected just before the Photokina event starts. Japanese website SankeiBiz also confirmed a month ago that Nikon will pick overseas trade-show (Photokina) to announce its Pro-Mirrorless camera.
Nikon Mirrorless Before Photokina 2018
According to latest rumors Nikon is rumored to announce new Mirrorless camera Just before Photokina event starts. That clearly means either the Nikon Mirrorless camera is coming in September 2018 OR may be a bit early August 2018. The Shipment of the Mirrorless camera is rumored to start from October 2018. One months after the Photokina 2018 event.
Nikon Mirrorless with two New Lenses
One Fullframe Camera announcement is expected this year along with two new lenses and a F-mount adapter. After few months Nikon will add more lenses to its arsenal. Nikon is currently working on new FZ mount for its FF Mirrorless camera. However, the name of the mount isn’t confirmed yet.

PS: Tamron also said they are ready for Nikon and Canon Mirrorless system, I just hope Tamy will also announce the new 28-75mm F2.8 Lens for Nikon once the camera become official. So, we can have a cheaper alternative of standard zoom lens.

Nikon finally opens about their plan about the introduction of Mirrorless cameras. According to latest Nikon Manager interview Published at Japanese TV network NHK,
Development is underway, and we can expect to bring one to market by spring of next year.
Now, the spring period in Japan starts from 21 March to 21 June. So, we can expect the announcement of the camera before June 2019.
Earlier we all were expecting Nikon will announce it’s Mirrorless cameras in Photokina 2018 show. But, now its look like the announcement schedule of High-end Mirrorless cameras shifted for next year.

Nikon file a patent for stacked BSI CMOS image sensor, stacked CMOS sensors are better than the BSI CMOS sensor because they have built in memory chip which allow for faster read out of data.
We do expect the future Nikon Mirrorless camera and DSLRs (May be Nikon D6) will carry stacked CMOS image sensor.

Tamron literally dropped a bomb, they announced a fullframe lens while having a 27-75mm focal length with a constant F2.8 aperture throughout the zoom range. The lens also features built-in steeping motor, for silent and fast focusing. The lens also features For AF drive, it is equipped with a sensor that detects the lens position with high accuracy and a stepping motor unit “RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive)” optimized for AF control.
The lens is ultra compact and small achieving a mass of 550 g and a length of 117.8 mm. The close focusing distance of the lens is 5.7 cm only.
In order to satisfy both beautiful blurring taste and high image quality, a special glass material XLD (eXtra Low Dispersion) lens, one LD (Low Dispersion: Loss Dispersion) lens, one GM Mold Aspheric) One lens and two composite aspherical lenses are properly arranged to correct various aberrations including chromatic aberration well and achieve compactness of the entire optical system. In addition, it adopts BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) coating boasting high antireflection performance and is pursuing stable resolution performance even in photography at backlighting throughout the zoom range.
The lens is compatible with Sony Hybrid AF technology and the firmware can be also updated is also possible.

Nikon mirrorless camera is mentioned at Japanese website SankeiBiz, According to the news website Nikon is working very fast on the development as well announcement of Nikon Mirrorless camera in current fiscal year (Before March 2019). But at the same time SankeiBiz also added that, according to sources Nikon will pick overseas trade show for Pro-Mirrorless system cameras.
