Nikon D5500 camera was announced back on Jan 2015 and Nikon D7200 March 2015. Nikon finally discontinued the Nikon D5500 camera and the Nikon D7200 camera. So, literally their clearing up the stock lines to make a space for the new versions. And if you look at the scheduled announcement dates of Nikon mid range DSLR camera then the next announcement should be done by Nikon in the beginning of 2019. That’s Nikon D5700 camera is coming in 2019.

According to Digital Photography review website the Nikon D7200 carry one of the best sensor they have ever tasted the camera also features 51 auto focus system that is very effective while shooting sports or during low light conditions.  We have already published Nikon D500 first High ISO Test here, Now today the High ISO test published at dpreview website. The camera is delivering excellent results during the test. We have compared Nikon D500 vs. Nikon D750 vs. Nikon D810 vs Nikon D7200 on a single line of frame and surprisingly the Nikon D500 camera is giving excellent image quality compared to the three in-home competitors (two of them are full-frame camera).
Despite of having a APS-C sensor the Nikon D500 giving strong competition to Nikon D750 fullframe camera and showing better result than Nikon D810 and Nikon D7200 camera.
After looking at the High ISO test of all the four camera take look at the specification comparison of all the four camera. The Nikon D500 features advance Expeed 5 image processor, more ISO range compared to all the three competitors and advance AF system support with 153 AF points that covers the entire frame of the camera helps you to shoot and track your subjects in not time. The continuous shooting spored of the camera is also very impressive (10 fps @ 20.9 MP) and finally the D500 is able to record 4K videos @ 30fps upto 30 mins and all the three of them remains limited to Full HD mode only.

Latest firmware update for Nikon D7200 camera is now available for download, the new firmware update the enhances functionality of the camera,
- Selecting Firmware version in the SETUP MENU would not display “C X.XX L X.XXX”.
- About 4 seconds of static could be heard on audio recorded with external HDMI recorders during movie live view
- Exposure compensation would fail to produce the desired results if a negative value was selected when NEF (RAW) images were processed using the NEF (RAW) processing option in the RETOUCH MENU.
- February 29th would sometimes not display correctly in leap years.

Why Canon 80D is a camera of next generation – We will talk about the sensor part later here we are discussing the overall technologies used inside the camera.
The Canon 80D uses Two Different AF system. The Phase AF module and the Dual Pixel CMOS AF system. So when you are using the Viewfinder the Phase AF module of the camera is active and when you are using live view display or shooting a video the Dual-Picel AF system gets activated.
Whereas the Nikon D7200 uses only Phase AF module and the camera sensor is traditional and limited to contrast AF only.
Hence the Canon 80D is able to acquire quick AF on subjects compared to Nikon D7200 while recording video or shooting subjects with live-view mode on.
Canon 80D have advance AF system but Nikon D7200 offers better image quality.
Bit Surprisingly the Traditional Contrast detect Sensor of Nikon D7200 shows more details compared to Canon 80D at base ISO level (ISO 100)

We are not able to recognize any major difference in the image quality of between Nikon D5500 and Nikon D7200, however at ISO 6400 Nikon D7200 grabbing bit more details compared to Nikon D5500, so if you don’t need advance AF system.. don’t put your extra money on the Nikon D7200 camera.
