World First 8K M4/3 Mirrorless Camera Developed by SHARP, the prototype was displayed at CES event and according to SHARP representatives the camera will officially arrive at the end of 2019. It’s really interesting to see how this camera performs when we record 8K videos. And one of the most amazing thing is the Camera also carries built-in IS mechanism. I still remember Panasonic representatives told us they have removed IBIS from Panasonic GH5s camera due to heat dissipation issues. So, let’s hope for the best and Sharp new M4/3 8K solution will open new gateways for existing camera makers. BTW, they can do reverse engineering also to create their own iterations 😉

But, the physically the lens is 2X big compared to the standard kit lens we are having now. In general patents takes at least 1 to 2 year to become a real product. The publication date of this patent is Jan 2019. So we have wait a bit long for its arrival.

As we have told you earlier also and [Fuji X-T30 Coming in 2019] Based on previous trends of Fuji, It’s look like Fuji registered Fuji X-T30 camera and next few months we will be having a affordable X-T3 camera in hour hands.

Fuji X-T30, When actually it’s coming ?
In Past we have seen that, there was more than 14 months of gap between Fuji X-T1 and Fuji X-T10 announcement. But, there was only 6 months of gap between the Fuji X-T2 and Fuji X-T20 announcement. So, its all depend upon the sales number and market demand. Once the desired sales numbers are reached, Fuji will sure announce a affordable Fuji X-T3 camera under Fuji X-T30 body to reach out more people and gain more market share.
Based on a educated guess the Fuji X-T30 camera should arrive sometime around May / June of 2019 is everything goes on schedule inside Fuji.
Fuji X-T3 de-ranked, low market demand for now
Although we do know that Fuji X-T3 camera was selling like hotcakes on the first day after its release. But, the market demand Fuji X-T3 camera doesn’t look so good for now. [check out best selling mirrorless camera at Amazon] although it do received lot of popularity in reviews worldwide but apparently at the time I am writing this post Fuji X-T3 #19 best selling Mirrorless camera at Amazon.com which is even behind Fuji X-H1 camera which is placed at #7 position.

Take a look what Canon Representative said…
We developed the EOS R System for the next 30 years, and started by introducing higher-end RF lenses. Yes, we are very serious about mirrorless. But please do not get the wrong impression, we will continue to enhance DSLR technology and products as well. We will work hard on both DSLR and mirrorless technologies and will wait to hear what customers say about each. Regarding the EOS R series, we are considering multiple models including a pro-level model, although I cannot comment on the time frame at this point.
Video will play a huge role in the EOS R System for sure. For example, an 8K video capable camera is already in our EOS R-series roadmap
WOW, EOS R 8K Camera in Canon Roadmap
That’s really great. I appreciate that from bottom of my heart. I am a canon DSLR camera user for past 20 years and love to remain on Canon side for next 100 years. But , Canon don’t crop you camera capabilities, just give us strong reason to buy your products other than DPAF. Put all the tech you have like Sony and Panasonic and then build a camera for us. That’s my request.
Sony announced nothing at CES event, We were waiting for Sony Alpha camera announcement but nothing really happened. Btw, Sony A7S III announcement is super delayed and they should announce it asap.
Well we still have high hopes and Sony do have one more mirrorless camera in announcement pipeline – Sony WW715296. And we are expecting its arrive in next few months, possibly at NAB 2019. The best platform to announce a camera like Sony A7S III.
In general 1 month before official announcement we do get lot of leak and information related to upcoming cameras from trusted sources. So, stay with us and we will update you soon as we get any new information.
More Confirmation coming from rumor mills now. We have told you back on Sep 2018 that Canon entry level Mirrorless camera will not have Multifunction bar to reduce the cost of making the entry level Camera.
The Mirrorless version of Canon 6D Mark II (Canon DS 126751) with a 24 MP FF sensor was also registered with the Canon EOS R camera back on early 2018, but Canon decided not to announce it at that time. Rumors suggest we will have it after 7-8 months of gap from EOS R announcement. That’s if EOS R announced back in Sep then Canon next FF Mirrorless Camera is coming May – June of 2019. After DS 126751 Canon also registered one more camera with model code DS126721, the
Canon Next Announcement on May – June 2019 ?
Based on the initial set of hints Canon will have it’s next big announcement on or before June of 2019. As you can see from Registered models code details below. We do expect the Canon DS126751 is a FF Mirrorless camera rumored to arrive in May / June of 2019. Canon DSC 126761 is a APS-C DSLR with multiple SKU units (entry level Rebel DSLRs have more kit options compared to pro).
