More Confirmation coming from rumor mills now. We have told you back on Sep 2018 that Canon entry level Mirrorless camera will not have Multifunction bar to reduce the cost of making the entry level Camera.

The Mirrorless version of Canon 6D Mark II (Canon DS 126751) with a 24 MP FF sensor was also registered with the Canon EOS R camera back on early 2018, but Canon decided not to announce it at that time. Rumors suggest we will have it after 7-8 months of gap from EOS R announcement. That’s if EOS R announced back in Sep then Canon next FF Mirrorless Camera is coming May – June of 2019. Canon Next Announcement on May – June 2019 ?

Based on the initial set of hints Canon will have it’s next big announcement on or before June of 2019. As you can see from Registered models code details below. We do expect the Canon DS126751 is a FF Mirrorless camera rumored to arrive in May / June of 2019. Canon DSC 126761 is a APS-C DSLR with multiple SKU units (entry level Rebel DSLRs have more kit options compared to pro). So, we do expect Canon will sure announce new Rebel Canon T8i / Canon 850D camera as we have told you before with limited 4K video mode in the Q1 of 2019.

According to latest news coming from rumor mills Canon 1dx mark III camera is rumored to arrive at the end 2019. We have told you a while ago that Canon 1DX Mark III camera is coming at the end of 2019 or at very beginning of 2020. And it’s not rumors, since we already have straight hints from Canon representatives that Canon will going to announce their flagship DSLR aka 1DX Mark III sometime at the end of 2019 or maybe in the very beginning of 2020..

Canon 6D Mark III Release date and Everything We Expect

We generally get a lot of question by users about upcoming camera, People are willing to know is it safe to buy Canon 6D Mark II camera in 2018 or 2019 ? When Canon 6D Mark III is coming ? So, let’s have a look when Canon 6D Mark III is coming.

let’s talk about the successor of Canon 6D mark 2 camera yes we are talking about the Canon 6D Mark III. We are getting a lot of unconfirmed set of information related to related to Canon 6D Mark III, and some of the sources do suggest the camera will arrive in Q1 of 2020 with same sensor as of Canon 5D Mark IV.

Canon took a long time to introduce the update Canon 6D mark 2. The time difference was approx 4 years and bit more between the Canon 6D and Canon 6D Mark II. But, we don’t think that canon will going to take the same time to introduce the update of Canon 6D mark 2 camera, the successor of the camera will arrive sometime at 2020.

1. What we want to see inside Canon 6D Mark III ?

We want to see massively improved Canon 6D Mark III camera with completely new sensor and brand new image processor. We also hope that with the help of new image sensor and image processor the Canon 6D Mark III camera. But latest rumors coming out from anonymous sources suggest Canon will use 30MP DPAF Sensor as we have seen in Canon 5D mark IV camera with new Digic 8 image processor. So, don’t expect any dramatic change in image quality of Canon 6D Mark II camera. It will somehow better than image quality of Canon 5D Mark IV.

2. 30 Megapixel Dual Pixel CMOS autofocus sensor

Yes, we are expecting a new sensor as we have told you already but adding a brand new sensor inside Canon 6D Mark III body isn’t so easy for Canon. Since, right now entire Canon team is putting attention towards the development of Canon FF and APS-C sensor based Mirrorless cameras. And even in 2019 we are expecting Canon will announce 1 new Canon FF Mirrorless Bodies (K433) at the same time 1DX Mark III announcement is also expected at Q4 of 2019. 3. Ultra HD 4K videos with Canon log Gama

We don’t think and I will going to introduce DCI 4K video recording in canon 6D Mark III camera it will going to remain Limited at ultra HD 4K video recording mode but at the same time can we will have the Canon log, which allow users to capture flat images with improved dynamic range upto 800% or 12 stops. 4K video with 422 sampling and 8 bit colour depth…we also hope to get neat and clean 10 bit output from the Canon 6D Mark III camera.

5. Canon Dual Image Stabilization or combination IS system

We also hope to see combination image stabilization system inside the Canon 6D Mark III camera, the combination images stabilization system is actually a conjunction of lens and image stabilization system as well as digital image stabilization system to stabilize video footage. It’s already implemented inside Canon EOS M50 camera.

6. No crop factor in 4K video recording mode

As we all know that Canon 6D mark II camera is limited to full HD video recording. But at the same time Canon EOS R or Canon 5D Mark IV both suffer from 1.74 X factor in 4K video recording mode we do hope that the upcoming Canon 6D Mark III camera will do a full sensor readout and do not show any crop factor is issue in recording 4K videos.

7. Canon 6D Series Announcement Timeline

Well as we all know Canon 6D Mark II was announced on Sep 2017 and it is too early to expect the arrival of its successor. And prior to Canon 6D Mark II we will have the announcement of Canon 1D X Mark III at the end of 2019 and a high end Canon Mirrorless also on its way.

If Canon goes on its schedule then we will have next Canon 6D Mark II camera on 2021 or 2022, since we have more than 4 years of Gap between the Canon 6D and Canon 6D Mark II camera.

Nikon D760 Camera Coming in Q1 of 2019 [Rumor]

Nikon is rumored to announce Nikon D760 camera in the very beginning / Q1 of 2019 and the shipping of the camera will start from second half of 2019.
unfortunately the rumor mill do not have any information about the resolution of the sensor so we have to wait for the trusted sources to get more information about it. But at the same time we are almost confirm that the upcoming camera will have 4K video recording capability as well as enhanced Core specification.

The new Nikon D760 will become the new entry-level full-frame DSLR camera.
4k video
The ISO button will move to the area near the shutter release.
AF-ON button added to the back.
Same knob AF control options as the D810.
Minor changes to the button layout on the rear of the D760.
Change in the number of AF points (no additional details yet).
Improved AF system and IQ at high ISO.

We have to wait for more confirmed set of rumors for further updates, We do believe that Nikon will have brand new sensor with better dynamic range and more improved low-light performance, not only that Nikon will also add N-Log 4:2:2 10 Bit recording features in upcoming Nikon D760 camera.

Breaking News: Nikon Patent DSLR with Hybrid Sensor

Nikon finally working on DSLRs with Hybrid Sensors. We are the first website world who spotted Nikon DSLR with a Hybrid Sensor. In the patent (published on July 2018) you can see Nikon DSLR camera with a Hybrid AF Sensor which uses both Phase and Contrast based technology to acquire AF.

As you can see in the image below Nikon AF pixels are fabricated inside the sensor with light sensitive pixels. As you can see pair of pixels on the sensor are masked. And the strips of the pixels will allow the camera to compared the results to establish how out-of-phase they are. The technology look similar to Canon Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology.

According to latest rumors Nikon D6 will become available to Professional Photographers starting from this February 2019. Rumor mill also suggest we may see some sort of development announcement at CES Show 2019.

Canon Ditched DSLR Development in Favor of Mirrorless

Ok last year Canon said they will cannabilze DSLRs to promote Mirrorless camera, and they did also. They haven’t updated the long overdue 7D Mk II camera (no longer in production / discontinued) and no DSLRs announced in 2018. Now, latest rumor coming from rumor mill suggest that Canon killed one of its DSLR development in favor of Mirrorless camera. May be 5DS line dumped up and we will see a high-resolution mirrorless solution for that.

They Never let users know…

The best thing camera maker usually do is to delay the product announcement. Sony never officially told that they have stopped the development of APS-C Alpha mount cameras. In the same way Nikon never told officially they are quitting the development of Nikon 1 Series Mirrorless camera. And we have Samsung never officially told us that they are shutting down the NX series camera manufacturing unit due to less profit.

3 More DSLRs on its Way, no FF DSLR in 2019 ?

Canon 7D Mark III – As we all know that Canon 7D mark II camera is discontinued and 7D Mk III is the most eligible camera to arrive in the year of 2019. Let’s talk about the possible core specification of the camera. The camera may have 24 or 30 MP sensor. Digic8 image processor that we have already seen in the Canon EOS M50 camera. New CRAW file format and advance image decoding algorithms. The camera is said to have silent shooting mode and continuous shooting upto 14FPS in AF-C mode.
Canon 90D is also rumored to arrive in 2019. But based on the latest set of information we are getting Canon is planning to introduce Canon 7D Mark III camera before Canon 90D. The camera will 4K 30p and lot of other enhancement including new RAW file formats and C-log support
Canon 850D / T8i is also rumored to arrive in the Q1 / Q2 of 2019. The latest rumors we have received suggest that the camera will have a 24 megzpixel CMOS sensor DPAF tech same as of Canon 80D DSLR camera. Initial information also suggest that the Canon 850D / T8i camera is the first Canon Rebel camera to have 4K video recording option.
