Let’s talk about the sensor in both the camera, Both mirrorless camera features aps-c sensor with 24 megapixel resolution.
1. AutoFocus
If you talk about hybrid autofocus in system then the Fuji remains limited to 91 points where as the Sony A6000 features 25 contrast detect AF points added with 179 Phase AF points. With Sony a6000 high density AF system you will going to get more frame coverage compared to the Fuji X-A5.
2. Fuji X-A5 1 Stop more ISO
Fuji X-A5 camera features one stop more ISO range compared to the Sony a6000 camera so we might see some improvement in the low light performance of the camera compared to the a6000.
3. Electronic shutter
Fujifilm X-A5 camera features Global shutter. So, Fuji camera is quite helpful in some situation like shooting action and Sports.
4. Burst Rate and Buffer
Continuous shooting a speed of Sony a6000 is better compared to the Fuji X-A5. Fuji, allowed a little buffer inside the Fuji X-A5 camera. Whereas, Sony a6000 you get a large buffer, with Sony a6000 you can capture 40 JPG file in a single burst, and you can also capture 24 files in a single click. But, with Fuji X-A5 camera the continuous shooting a speed of 6 frames per second limited to 10 shots only and after that you have to allow buffer to clearup.
5. Video – Fuji features limited 4K
Fuji X-A5 camera features 4K video recording with Limited frame rate of 15 frames per second and a time limit of 5 minutes only. which is really insane, its look like Fuji somehow added the 4K video mode inside the X-A5 camera.
So I am considering that both camera can record a decent FULL HD video, but for 4K recording you have to seek a different camera.
6. Wireless Transfer
At the end if you have a habit of transferring your files from camera to your smartphone, then you shouldn’t buy the Fuji X-A5 camera. Fuji X-A5 camera wireless transfer is done with bluetooth only which is slow. Sony a6000 uses built in wireless and NFC connectivity to transfer files fastly.
Both, are excellent camera but the Sony a6000 features a high density auto focusing system and the continuous shooting speed of Sony is more with large buffer. Fuji X-A5 offer one stop more lowlight sensitivity compared to the a6000, so may see bit cleaner images at High ISO range.
We are comparing Fuji X-A5 camera with the Canon EOS m100, both camera features aps-c sensor with 24 megapixel resolution. We have Fuji X-A4 with a option of 4K video recording mode which is lacking inside Canon EOS m100…. Does it really matter at the end of comparison let’s find out

1. Sensor
Both camera features 24 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, with Fuji you can expect bit sharp images since no low pass filter is present inside the camera.
2. AF System
Fuji offers 91 AF points than of Canon EOS M100 49 AF points, so the frame coverage of X-A5 will be more compared to the Canon EOS M100 camera.
The Fuji features Hybrid AF system and the Canon EOS m100 feature dual pixel CMOS auto focusing system. In general during the comparison we generally see the dual pixel CMOS sensor is faster compared to the hybrid ones.
Electronic shutter play a vital role when you need them, And the Fuji XF 5 camera do after electronics shutter 1/32000. Canon EOS m100 remains limited to Medical Center limit of 1 / 4000.
3. Continuous shooting Speed
Due to Limited BUFFER the continuous shooting speed of Fuji X-A5 is limited to 10 shots only when you are riding on 6 frame per second where as the Canon EOS m100 camera offers 6 frames per second continuous shooting speed and you can shoot it flawlessly 99 packs on a single click, and after that the speed drops to 5.5 FPS but it will going to continue until the card ends.
4. Video – X-A5 or EOS M100
Fuji X A5 camera offers 4K video With 15 frames per second with time limit of 5 minutes only which is really a big trouble for beginner and or even professional film makers, but they have a decent full HD video mode also.
Canon EOS m100 camera doesn’t offer 4K video what what it do offer full HD video recording mode.
So, both camera is good for record Full HD videos and don’t get carried away by reading the specification of the Fuji X-A5 camera.
Fuji X-A and Canon EOS M100, both features excellent core specification. But with Fuji We are getting few extra things for sure, such as shutter and ISO range and a 5Min 4K video mode with 15fps. So, at the end you have to decide which camera you want to buy ?
We have selected Fujifilm X A5 camera and Panasonic G7 camera for comparison for their affordable price range. Both camera are best for entry level shooters, but which one is exactly more suitable for still shots and which one for video… take a look

1. Sensor of both the camera
let’s talk about the sensor off the camera, Fujifilm X-A5 camera features a large aps-c sensor With a 24 megapixel resolution on the other side we have Panasonic G7 with 16 megapixel resolution and 4/3 format sensor.
2. AF system – Fuji have Hybrid
Let’s talk about auto focusing system of both the camera, The The recently announced Fujifilm X-A5 camera features hybrid autofocus in system with 91 auto focusing points and Panasonic G7 camera features contrast based DFD auto focusing system which is bit slow compared to Hybrid ones.
3. ISO range – 1 Stop more with Fuji
Fujifilm X A5 camera by having a large APS-C sensor also offers one stop more ISO range (51200) compared to the Panasonic G7 camera. So, you will going to get more clear low light images from the camera compared to the Panasonic G7
For still shooting we recommend you to get Fujifilm X-A5 camera
The recently announced Fuji X-A5 camera records 4K video at 15 frames per second with a time limit of 5 minute only after 5 minute the buffer of the camera will going to be FULL and you have to wait a second and then start it again.
but Panasonic G7 camera offers 4K video recording at 30 frames per second with time limit of 29 minutes which is insane compared to the Fuji X-A5 camera.
