Echoes of the Osmo Action 5 Pro: Chipset Woes and Launch Hiccups
Digging deeper, it reminds me of the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro, which was released with a Qualcomm chipset on a 4nm process with the new processor. DJI also introduced new algorithms for better efficiency and heat management. After the announcement, the DJI Action 5 Pro faced backlash over reduced bitrates compared to its predecessor. To prevent overheating at higher frame rates, the new algorithms worked on lower bitrates. This resulted in artifacts in high-contrast scenes.
