To prevent overheating at higher frame rates, the new algorithms worked on lower bitrates. This resulted in artifacts in high-contrast scenes. Finally, the users stepped in and demanded fixes via online forums and social media channels like X (formerly known as Twitter), and the good thing is, DJI listened – rolling out a firmware update that introduced a high-bitrate mode, and guess what, that only resulted in the cost of some battery life.
