Let’s check it out now, which camera company have the biggest Fullframe mount in industry right now. As you can see that Nikon features the biggest 55mm Mount in industry with shortest flange distance to gain the highest quality possible and at the same time at second position we have Canon RF with 54mm lens diameter with 20mm flange distance, well before the arrival of Leica Canon was having the longest flange distance, but now its a tie.
Now after Canon RF, we have Leica L Mount that that features 51.6mm lens diameter and at the end we have Sony E-Mount with 46.1mm lens diameter. Having a large mount will sure help these camera makers to develop high quality lenses for their camera systems.
So which one is your fav Mirrorless mount among these 4 options, do share you thoughts with us.

We have already seen the Nikon Z7 Tear down, now its time for Canon EOS R. The Canon EOS R camera Tear down done by Lens Rentals Team. According to lens Rentals Team
From LensRentals Blog
…………It’s neatly laid out and nicely engineered inside. One thing that struck me is that it’s not very crowded inside there, or as we like to say ‘they left a lot of air inside’. This view that I haven’t shown you yet, kind of illustrates that; there’s a pretty big gap between the circuit boards and the image sensor. If you look back at the Sony A7R III teardown (or the Nikon Z teardown to come) you’ll notice there’s not that much space inside; it’s taken up by the IBIS system which is big and thick.
If there is some space left then why don’t they added one extra card slot or built-in image stabilization system ? Since in an interview when some one asked Canon Representatives

Canon High-end Mirrorless Models to have Built-in Image Stabilization and more…
Canon had a policy against IBIS on DSLRs, but this is not the case for MILCs. Lack of IBIS on EOS R was a result of compromises over body size, cost and heat dissipation for this particular model; they do think it has merits, and will consider it for future models depending on the nature of the camera body.
Possibly to save the future model sales Canon decided not to implement Butil-in IS or Dual card slot in the camera. What’s your view , do share us in the comment box below.

Lot’s of Nikon 35mmLens reviews are Live now, and one of our friend Photographyblog just published the Nikon 35mm F1.8 lens lens review. Btw, we have also done Nikon Z7 review a while ago.
If you don’t have time you can check verdict below
Using the Nikon Z 7 with the Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.8 S lens is a great experience. It’s well balanced in its body design, and it’s good to see that it shares the same level of weatherproofing as the Z 7 body.
The images that the Nikon Z 35mm f/1.8 S is capable of creating are pin-sharp, while also displaying very pleasing out of focus areas which are great for portraits and other subjects which you want to isolate….. read more

Well, Magic developer team always work to improve the technical functionalities of the camera by unlocking the capabilities they actually have. We are getting news that Magic Lantern‘s developer team now working on EOS R camera. Magic Lantern‘s A1ex and EOSHD are doing some early test on the camera with beta firmware versions. Hopefully, we will get a working firmware version soon.
Well my only wish list is to fix the 1.74x crop issue the in the 4K video recording mode. And if they are able to grab 10bit internally it will be great achievement for them.
A1ex from ML :
They changed something in the [firmware]file format, possibly also the encryption. Whatever worked on all models from 50D to M50, it no longer works here. The error message is the same as on previous models and that’s encouraging; however, I’m unable to figure it out by brute forcing.
Magic Lantern‘s A1ex and EOSHD made some tests with Magic Lantern on the brand new Canon EOS R. And it appears to work. Or at least we have a proof of concept.
