Finally, we have clear videos of the upcoming DJI Pocket 4 Pro camera, so now it’s not a secret anymore, and we have crystal-clear video as well as images of the Pocket 4 Pro, as they have been shared earlier in our articles. The upcoming Pocket 4 Pro camera will have a large 1-inch sensor in the ultra-wide lens, as well as a dedicated 3× optical zoom-based module for capturing distant subjects.
Just hours ago, trusted DJI and Insta360 insider Igor Bogdanov (@Quadro_News) dropped two stunning teaser videos that appear to officially confirm the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P — a bold dual-camera upgrade to the popular Osmo Pocket series.
Insta360 Luna is also in the announcement lineup, but it is still in preparation mode. Meanwhile, DJI has already announced the standard Pocket 4 camera and is now teasing the Pocket 4 Pro — the professional version. This shows the aggressive strategy of DJI to beat its competitor, and it’s a really well-planned strategy. Due to intense market competition, consumers will get enhanced devices from camera makers.
At this moment, we don’t know the exact timing of DJI’s Pocket 4 PRO camera announcements, nor what Insta360 is planning with the Luna. How the market will respond will depend on the price, features, and performance of the camera. But in the end, the real winner is the consumer, since we are getting more and more options at various budgets with enhanced and upgraded hardware and core specifications in handheld pocket gimbal cameras.
Creative Image of DJI Pocket 4 PRO
The leaks arrive at the perfect time, intensifying the upcoming battle with Insta360 Luna, and suggest DJI is pushing boundaries with a true dual-lens pocket gimbal camera featuring a 1-inch main sensor and dedicated 3x telephoto lens — all while maintaining the ultra-compact form factor that made the Osmo Pocket 3 a vlogging favorite.
What the Teaser Videos Reveal About the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P
The first 16-second video kicks off with the iconic white DJI logo and quickly reveals two distinct camera modules side-by-side on the motorized gimbal head:
- 1-inch sensor main camera on the right (promising superior low-light performance and dynamic range)
- 3x telephoto lens on the left (enabling true optical zoom without heavy digital cropping)
The modules then elegantly merge into the familiar Osmo Pocket body. The device — clearly labeled OSMO POCKET 4P — rotates under dramatic lighting, showcasing the sleek integration. “OSMO” is embossed on the base, and the video closes with bold text:
Confirmed Key Upgrades Expected in the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P (Pro)
Let’s discuss the confirmed updates. Here, we are getting insights into the Pocket 4 Pro camera, and specifically this time with visuals and images. We can clearly see that we are getting a large 1-inch sensor paired with a 3× optical zoom camera module.
- True optical 3x zoom — Switch seamlessly between wide and telephoto without quality loss
- Superior low-light performance thanks to the large 1-inch main sensor
- Enhanced creative flexibility for portrait/vertical video, interviews, and cinematic shots
- Expanded ecosystem control via wireless pairing with the Osmo Mobile 8P and its mini remote
- Better portrait/vertical shooting modes and hybrid zoom capabilities

Why the Timing Matters: DJI Osmo Pocket 4P vs Insta360 Luna
These teaser videos are no coincidence. We know this type of teaser is going to hamper the pre-orders or sales of the standard Pocket 4 camera, which was announced recently on April 16, 2026. But DJI is now super aggressive, and they don’t want to lose a single consumer they have built over the past 3 to 4 years in the pocket gimbal camera segment, and that’s why they are leading the competition. They are about to announce the dual-camera setup–based DJI Pocket 4 Pro professional camera just before the Insta360 Luna arrives in the market.
What’s Next for the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P?
The videos look like official-grade renders or very early pre-production footage. Full specifications, pricing, and exact release date are still under wraps, but the rapid back-to-back drops from a highly reliable leaker, combined with “coming soon” messaging, point to an imminent announcement — possibly within the next few weeks.
We’ll continue tracking every new leak, rumor, and official update right here.

We have been tracking the DJI Pocket 4 Pro camera since the very first front image, and even after that, surfaced back in December 2025, In one of the most recent leaked images, we can clearly see a person holding the DJI standard Pocket 4 along with the DJI Pocket 4 Pro camera. As we all know, the DJI Pocket 4 standard edition camera was announced on April 16, 2026. That clearly indicates the early review units (since this is not the first time we have seen pocket 4 pro images) have already been distributed to content creators to generate content. Another thing that supports the above statement is that, according to a trusted source. Then the announcement is about to happen as early as June 2026 or maybe at the very end of May 2026. The time frame of the Pocket 4 announcement indicates the announcement is not too far.

What the Latest DJI Pocket 4 Pro Leak Shows
We have the latest set of images leaked via Igor’s new photo, which shows one of the clearest images of the Osmo Pocket 4 Pro. Take a look at the core specification of the upcoming camera
Drawing from FCC filings, prototype sightings, and insider leaks, the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro is rumoured to pack flagship features in a sub-200g body. Here’s a breakdown of the expected specs:
Take a look at the rumoured core specification of the DJI Pocket 4 PRO
| Feature |
Details |
| Sensor & Resolution |
Dual CMOS primary sensor (50MP); secondary telephoto/ultrawide lens |
| Video Capabilities |
4k 240fps, 6K up to 60fps; 4K slow-mo beyond 120fps; 10-bit D-Log M color profiles |
| Zoom & Lenses |
2x-4x optical zoom via dual-lens system |
| Stabilization & Tracking |
3-axis gimbal with ActiveTrack 7.0 AI; multi-subject locking |
| Screen & Controls |
Larger rotating touchscreen; gesture/voice commands; physical zoom dial |
| Battery & Build |
1,545mAh battery (20% larger than Pocket 3); fast charging; slimmer profile |
These upgrades address key pain points from the Osmo Pocket 3, such as limited zoom and battery life, making the Pro a must-have for YouTubers, influencers, and filmmakers. Early leaks also hint at enhanced modular integration, including remote grips and external lights for low-light vlogs.

Arrival Date of the Pocket 4 PRO
As I’ve reported earlier on thenewcamera.com, the DJI Pocket 4 Pro received its FCC grant (ID: 2ANDR-PP041) on December 22, 2025. The 180-day confidentiality period ends on June 20, 2026 – but as we have seen with almost every DJI product, the company does not wait for full expiry before launching. The basic FCC approval already allows sales, and current testing photos show the Pro is nearly ready.

Adding more clarity on the arrival timeline, well-known DJI follower Mauro Tandoi (@MauroTandoi) has shared that the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro has a June 2026 ETA.
So that is sort of double confirmation we have about the arrival time of the camera, since the deadline is also approaching, as well as it has also revealed June 2026 as the possible arrival month of the Pocket 4 Pro.
This prediction carries logical weight when viewed alongside the FCC details: the device received its grant (ID: 2ANDR-PP041) on December 22, 2025, with the standard 180-day short-term confidentiality period ending on June 20, 2026.
Although DJI routinely launches products before the full confidentiality window expires, Mauro’s June timeline aligns perfectly with the possible announcement date.
Why This Matters for Creators
If you are a bit confused about whether you should upgrade your camera to the Pocket 4 or not, and you already own a Pocket 3 camera, then I suggest you wait for the Pocket 4 Pro announcement. You will have a massive update in the camera module (true optical zoom with dual lens module), although the upcoming Pocket 4 Pro will be a bit more costly than the existing Pocket 4 model.
If you’re deciding between the two models, the standard Pocket 4 is the “now” buy – compact, powerful, and ready in days. The Pocket 4 Pro is shaping up to be the one for creators who want true optical zoom, better low-light results, and that extra creative flexibility the dual-lens system provides.
We will continue to track every new leak, FCC update, and official announcement. The dual-camera Pocket 4 Pro remains one of the most exciting pocket-sized cameras expected sometime in 2026.
Have you been waiting for the Pro model? Let us know in the comments if you plan to go for the standard Pocket 4 now or hold out for the dual-lens version.

So finally, we have more information related to the upcoming Insta360 Luna (registered name Luna Ultra), and this time not only do we have a new image of the upcoming camera, but we also have vital details of the Insta360 Luna Ultra, which include the exact name (yes Ultra is added at the end of Luna name), battery capacity and input voltage. And not only that, but Igor has also added the name of one more Insta360 device, E-Link (possibly the next generation of their Link, AI tracking-based webcams). Take a look at the latest set of leaks from igor from Quadro News.

The Latest Leaked Images and Details of Insta360 Luna Ultra
In the latest set of leaked information, @Quadro_News (Igor Bogdanov) posts a blurry product sticker and a cryptic Russian caption, the Insta360 community sits up and pays attention to the details, these are
影石Insta360 Luna Ultra 相机
(Insta360 Luna Ultra Camera)
Below that:
-
- Input: 5-15V — 3A max
- Battery: 7.82V dc, 1550mAh, 12.13Wh
This is in classic style, Igor Leak started for the upcoming Insta360 Luna camera, where Igor peels off and publishes information layer by layer.
But, most importantly, the “Ultra” suffix is new – previous rumours only mentioned a base “Luna” model. By leaking the full name and exact battery specs, @Quadro_News is telling the world: this device is real, it’s advanced, and I have direct access to it.

What Is the Insta360 Luna Ultra?
Insta360 Luna (Luna Ultra) is an upcoming dual-camera pocket-style camera from Insta360. This is not the first time we have also published some clear images of the Insta360 camera before. Take a look at the rumoured specifications of the upcoming camera.
The Luna Ultra is expected to be Insta360’s direct rival to the upcoming DJI Osmo Pocket 4. Previous leaks suggest it will feature:
- A dual-lens system (wide-angle + telephoto)
- Optical zoom capability (rumoured up to 3x)
- Advanced FlowState gimbal stabilisation
- Rotating Touchscreen: Obviously, that’s clearly visible below the camera gimbal. A small, flip-out or rotating LCD screen for accessing quick controls and live preview, can be used for basic as well as advanced settings adjustments, even for manual zoom control. The Insta360 Luna camera also supports swipe gestures. Live AI based tracking with panning and parameter changes.
- Record/Shutter Button: Prominent circular button on main grip (index-finger position). Starts/stops 4K recording or captures stills; long-press for burst/quick-cancel.
- Joystick/Directional Control: Thumb rocker on lower handle. Controls gimbal pan/tilt, FOV adjustment, menu navigation, and manual framing override.
- Zoom Controls: Dedicated physical interface (side buttons + joystick integration). Enables manual override of 3× optical zoom between wide-angle and telephoto lenses.
- Power/Mode Button: Upper handle thumb-accessible switch. Powers device on/off and cycles shooting modes (single-lens / dual-lens / preview).
- LED Indicator: Red circular status LED on mid-handle. Indicates recording active, battery level, and accessory connectivity.
- Function/Switch Buttons: Secondary side toggles for camera view switching (wide/tele) and direct mode selection.
This leak confirms that “Luna Ultra” is the official product name — not just an internal codename.
The Mysterious “E-Link” Tease
In the same post, the leaker casually asked Insta360 about a second unreleased product called E-Link, writing:
“By the way @insta360, how’s your E-Link doing? I hope you announce that one too. It’s not bad :)”
Very little is publicly known about E-Link. I personally believe it will be the next-generation model in Insta360’s popular Link series of AI-powered webcams (following the Link 2). The leaker’s positive comment suggests it could be a major upgrade.
Why This Leak Is Important
This is more than just another rumour. Insta360 Luna camera stock has already been spotted at Store Lake, so technically, the camera is now ready for its announcement, although yes, we are tracking this rumour. As any update arrives, we will be posting here soon.
Insta360 fans have been waiting for the company’s answer to DJI’s Osmo Pocket series; this leak suggests that the wait is almost over.
Stay tuned to thenewcamera.com for the latest updates on the Insta360 Luna Ultra release date, full specifications, pricing, and any news about the mysterious E-Link.

We have the first set of official images of the DJI Pocket 4 camera, shared by Igor, one of the most trusted sources for DJI news and information. He has published a three-part photo set on his social media account, and we are covering all the images in this article. Specifically, the Pocket 4 camera doesn’t seem much different from the Pocket 3. Typically, if we look at some of the new controls, like the dedicated zoom button, we have it just below the screen, so we notice fewer changes there. Technically, the camera module remains the same as that of the Pocket 3.

DJI Osmo Pocket 4: Key Design Changes vs Pocket 3
- Larger, brighter rotatable touchscreen
- Refined body with better textured grip
- Repositioned controls for easier one-handed use
- Still ultra-compact and pocketable

6 Things Most People Still Don’t Know About the DJI Osmo Pocket 4
These fresh details from Igor’s leaks and the official retail packaging are the real surprises:
- 35% lighter than the Pocket 3. The new Pocket 4 weighs just ~116 g (compared to 179 g on the Pocket 3). It feels noticeably more pocketable — perfect for all-day travel and vlogging.
- No microSD slot — 107 GB built-in storage + 800 MB/s transfer. All footage records straight to super-fast internal memory. No delay, lag or overheating. Offloading 4K files is now lightning quick.
- The magnetic removable Fill Light in the Creator Combo is one of the most interesting add-ons, allowing you to fill space with light when required. It is a brand-new clip-on LED floodlight that magnetically attaches. Excellent for low-light vlogs, night selfies, or indoor content — one of the most useful new accessories DJI has added.
- Dedicated physical zoom button + programmable “C” button. New hardware zoom rocker and custom shortcut button mean faster, more intuitive one-handed control while walking or filming on the move.
- OsmoAudio 4-channel recording + ActiveTrack 7.0 Upgraded 4-channel audio (big step up from the Pocket 3) and the latest ActiveTrack 7.0 for smoother subject tracking. Combined with the improved sensor, low-light performance, and following should feel significantly better.
- Igor’s honest reaction + Pocket 4 Pro tease. Even Igor called it “just an evolution”… but he immediately followed up saying the Combo set looks more interesting and openly hopes the Pocket 4 Pro will be much more exciting. Perfect FOMO fuel.

Official Announcement Date – April 16, 2026
This is 110% confirm that since DJI has itself posted on the Twitter account, the promotional Valley put down before any announcement, and obviously, the April 16 date is not far away
Will the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Be Worth Upgrading?
For Osmo Pocket 3 owners:
- The changes look incremental (screen, ergonomics, minor internals).
- If you already own the Pocket 3, you may want to wait for the Pro version.
For new buyers or vloggers:
- This remains one of the best pocket-sized 4K gimbal cameras on the market.
- Expect the same excellent stabilization, 4K/120fps video, and active tracking that made the previous model a favorite.

Now, just after a week of the unboxing video being dropped. Or better to say, top DJI leaker @Quadro_News (Igor Bogdanov) has published high-quality product shots of the upcoming DJI Pocket 4 camera alongside. These are among the clearest design images yet of the upcoming Pocket 4, showing updated branding, external accessories like a flash and a tripod.
If you’ve been following our coverage of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 launch (see our previous post on the first unboxing video and April 16 launch date), this is the perfect next chapter.
All these images are coming from the DJI product shots page, which is about to go live on April 16, 2026, when the official announcement of the 4-camera will happen. Latest Leaks from Quadro_News –
Latest Leaked Images of DJI Pocket 4
A single clean render highlighting the standalone package for Content creators
Another four images focusing on the top module and side profile.
Now, these images that you have seen above are not renders. These are the real products of the DJI Pocket 4 camera and its accessories. The New Pocket 4 camera as a device looks noticeably more premium and travel-friendly than the Pocket 3, with smoother lines and what many are calling a “mini Osmo Action” vibe.
Note from the leaker himself: In a follow-up post on April 10, @Quadro_News wrote (in Russian): “К сожалению, новая osma скучная” – which translates to “Unfortunately, the new Osmo is boring.” He also added in Part 1: “I hope the 4 Pro will be much more interesting.” This suggests the standard Pocket 4 is a safe,
For those who already have the Pocket 3 camera, it looks like the Pocket 4 is a standard evolutionary upgrade, not a revolutionary one. If you are expecting a major video quality upgrade, you may get a disappointing change. The overall hardware seems to be the same, specifically if we talk about the camera module of the Pocket 4 when compared to the Pocket 3. Yes, the image processing engine and the AI algorithms have been improved, alongside the battery life and controls, so you can have a kind of better, more effortless workflow while creating your content. And if you’re looking for a major scaling in hardware performance, then you should wait for the Pocket 4 Pro camera.
What to Expect on April 16
DJI typically launches in China first, followed by global availability within 1–2 weeks. We expect a Creator Combo bundle with the new case, extra battery, and possibly a mini tripod or ND filter kit.

We have a list of cameras that are about to arrive within the next two to three months. Yes, we have already published details about the upcoming Canon R7 Mark II camera a few months ago. But recently, more details have emerged from a reputable source, E88_8888. who has uncovered new models registered with the China CMIIT wireless certification agency and is expected to arrive in the upcoming months.
Before we begin, we can be quite confident about two upcoming models: the Sony A7R VI (officially registered) and the Fujifilm X-T6.
For Nikon and Panasonic, there are several rumored models in the pipeline (such as various Z-series updates for Nikon and potential S1H II / S5R-style bodies for Panasonic), but we do not have clear, confirmed registration details or solid timelines for them yet.
2026 Camera Release Calendar – What’s Next?
Yes, as we have said, the Canon R7 II is already on the horizon, expected to arrive before June. The announcement may happen in May 2027. Other than R7 Mk II, the next set of cameras that are confirmed and loaded in the announcement pipeline are
| Brand |

Why These CMIIT Certifications Matter: 100% Legit Early Signals
CMIIT (China MIIT) and SRRC filings are required before any camera with wireless features can enter the Chinese market. Historical accuracy exceeds 90% – these leaks have correctly predicted launches for years. So once the camera name appears here, rest assured the camera is in the announcement pipeline, and although sometimes, like with Nikon, we’re not able to clarify the model name, but with the help of sources and repeated rumours, you will soon find out what’s coming next from Nikon.
- Fujifilm FF260001: First X-Processor 6 model with tri-band Wi-Fi 6 (2.4/5.1/5.8 GHz).
- Nikon N2324: Dual-band wireless sibling to recent affordable Z bodies.
- Panasonic P2409A & P2501A: Dual-band and Bluetooth-only entries (registered earlier in Feb 2026).
- Sony ILCE-7RM6: Wi-Fi 6 high-res flagship.
These are not speculation — they’re official regulatory approvals dated April 7, 2026 (Fujifilm & Nikon) and February 2026 (Panasonic & Sony).

1. Sony ILCE-7RM6: The A7R VI High-Res Flagship
The Sony A7R VI camera is rumored to feature a 67-megapixel sensor. Not only that. The A7R VI is likely to arrive in Q4 of 2026.
Model Code: WW847606 (ILCE-7RM6)
Certification: 2026-2259 | CMIIT ID 26j99MW70054 | Reg. Date: Feb 4, 2026
According to rumors, Sony is about to introduce a 67-megapixel stacked CMOS sensor in the next-generation A7R VI camera, which is able to record up to 10k, which sounds really very interesting. Let’s dive deep into the details.
If the specs hold, this could be the sensor that finally lands in the Sony A7R VI (or a high-end A7R VI body) and gives hybrid photographers and videographers the ultimate stills + cinema tool.
Wireless: 5.1/2.4 GHz + Bluetooth (Wi-Fi 6)
Sony’s next high-resolution beast is already in the pipeline. Consistent leaks point to:
-
- 67–80 MP stacked sensor
- 8K–10K video
- Near-zero rolling shutter
- Vastly improved AI tracking
- 8.5+ stops IBIS
- New body design
Timeline: Strong rumors suggest a May 2026 announcement — possibly alongside new GM lenses. Sony’s pattern of flagship drops every 2–3 years fits perfectly after the A7R V.

2. Fujifilm FF260001: The X-T6 Arrives with X-Processor 6 and Wi-Fi 6
Model Code: FF260001 (listed internally as X-T*)
Certification: 2026-6672 | CMIIT ID 26j99KK3S349 | Reg. Date: April 7, 2026
Wireless: 5.8/5.1/2.4 GHz + Bluetooth (explicit Wi-Fi 6 for the China region)
This is the first camera on Fujifilm’s brand-new 6th-generation platform. The jump from X-Processor 5 (X-T5) to X-Processor 6 is expected to bring massive gains in autofocus, video, and processing speed. Already registered and about to arrive means we have 100% percent about them
Apart from this, there are also some strong rumours related to the next generation of X pro camera, which is expected to arrive this year, but in this article, we are only concentrating on those cameras that are already registered and about to arrive, which means we have one hundred percent certainty about them
Rumored X-T6 Specs (Consistent Across Rumor Mills):
- 40MP partially-stacked X-Trans VI sensor (or higher-res HR variant)
- 8K video capability (30p or higher, with oversampled 4K)
- AI-driven subject detection and tracking
- 8+ stops IBIS
- Up to 200MP Pixel Shift mode
- Fully articulating screen (upgrade over X-T5’s 3-way tilt)
- Faster burst rates and dramatically improved rolling-shutter performance
Release Timeline: Multiple sources (FujiRumors, KF Concept, Vietnamese retailer leaks) point to a September 2026 announcement. This aligns perfectly with Fujifilm’s historical pattern of major X-series bodies in spring/summer.
The X-T6 is shaping up to be Fujifilm’s “full-frame killer” APS-C flagship — exactly what enthusiasts have been waiting for since the X-T5 launched in late 2022.

3. Nikon N2324: New Affordable Z-Series Body Incoming
Model Code: N2324 (listed as Z****)
Certification: 2026-5961 | CMIIT ID 26j99NA7E001 | Reg. Date: April 7, 2026
Wireless: 5.1/2.4 GHz (dual-band only)
NikonRumors also confirmed this filing immediately. E88_8888 describes it as a “sibling to the Z50 II, Z5 II, and P1100” — meaning it’s an accessible/mid-tier Z body, likely without an EVF or aimed at vloggers/entry-level users. But, basically, we have to wait for more confirmation on this before jumping specifically to a camera name. Although we do have published an article “Nikon ZRc, Nikon Z500, Nikon ZFC II and Z30 II Specs & Release Rumors Revealed by Matt”, so you can have a clear glimpse of upcoming DX format cameras from Nikon by Nikon PRO Matt itself
Timeline: Q2–Q3 2026 announcement expected (typical 3–6 months after certification).
