GoPro MAX2 Early Black Friday Deal: Cheapest 8K 360 Camera in the US

The GoPro MAX2 camera price has dropped to $299 at major US retailers, and that’s the lowest price we have seen since its announcement. The MAX2 has never touched the $299 price mark since the day of its announcement. This is one of the biggest early Black Friday deals I have seen on an 8K 360 camera. The price has been confirmed by B&H Store, USA. Details of the camera and deal are mentioned below.

Current US Pricing (Checked November 5, 2026)

• B&H Photo: $299.00 (listed as Holiday Savings, $200 off $499). In stock and sold by an authorised dealer.
• Amazon: Pricing is more variable. Third-party new offers have reached $299, while sold-by-Amazon listings have recently been higher (around $399). Confirm the exact seller, stock, and final cart price before ordering.

The $299 level is the lowest known price of the GoPro MAX2 camera since its announcement. And it does represent a very deep discount off its price tag. For now, it’s available at B&H Store, while some Amazon sellers are also offering it at the very same price point. This is the best time if you are interested in buying the GoPro MAX2 camera. Let’s take a look at the core specs of the camera before we wrap up.

Key Specs

• True 8K 360 video (up to 30 fps) plus single-lens 4K/60
• 29 MP 360 stills
• HyperSmooth stabilization with Horizon Lock
• Replaceable glass lenses
• 6-microphone 360 audio
• Invisible pole mounting support
• 1960 mAh Enduro battery
• Touchscreen and straightforward Quik app reframe workflow

The GoPRO MAX2 8K 360 camera is designed so you can capture everything around you and choose the framing later. The replaceable lenses and dual-mode (360 + single-lens) design make it more practical for action use than many pure 360 cameras.

Cheapest 8K 360 Camera in the US: Comparison of MAX 2 Price After Early Black Friday Deal

Here’s a short, scannable comparison of where the GoPro MAX2 currently stands on price against the other main 8K 360 cameras (US street pricing, November 2026):

Quick takeaway
As you can see very clearly, at $299, the MAX2 is currently the clear price leader among current-generation 8K 360 cameras. The DJI Osmo 360 and Insta360 X5 both offer advantages in low-light performance and sensor size, but they sit noticeably higher in price right now. For pure value on an 8K 360 body, the MAX2 deal is the strongest option at the moment.

Who This Deal Makes Sense For

• Excellent budget option, Creators who want 8K 360 footage and the ability to reframe afterward without buying a separate action camera
• Buyers looking for a capable 360 option under $300 before the main holiday rush
• Anyone who has been waiting for the MAX2 to drop closer to the price of older or competing models

If you live in the USA and trust the GoPro brand, then before the massive deals arrive, the MAX2 is an excellent option. Shops like Amazon.com and B&H also offer a 7- to 30-day return period. If you are not satisfied with the product, you can return your camera.

Bottom Line for US Buyers

At $299 (especially from B&H with reliable stock and authorized-dealer status), the GoPro MAX2 is one of the better early Black Friday action and 360 camera values available right now. The discount is real and live. Always double-check the final cart total, seller, return policy, and shipping before checkout, as prices and stock can change quickly.

This is early-season pricing. If you are not in a rush, it is reasonable to watch for any deeper cuts closer to Black Friday, but the current $200 reduction already makes the MAX2 worth considering.
