 Once again Michael V and other rumor websites (remember the Photografix article?) those who claimed 5D Mark IV coming at Photography show at UK proved wrong.
We have told you earlier also that Canon will never select UK show to announce a product like Canon 5D Mark IV, they will certainly pick NAB 2016 show that will going to held on April of this year or Photokina Show at Sept 2016.
Based on latest rumors surfaced over the web Canon 5D Mark IV will enjoy slight increase in resolution, however detailed information is not available at the moment but it will sure get a good jump in dynamic range compared to its predecessor canon 5D Mark III.
According to the source of Canon rumor website the Canon 1DX Mark II was aimed at photojournalists and the next 5D will be aimed for professional filmmakers. A while ago we have published a rumor that the next 5D will have S log gamma support as well as 4K recording option.
Canon announced 1DX Mark II camera and Canon 80D in the beginning of this year but Canon 5D Mark IV and Canon 6D Mark II update is still pending.

 We have done a extensive research to find out why Canon announced 1300D / T6 camera ? the camera features almost same core specification as of Canon 1200D except wireless connectivity. The core specification of Canon Rebel 700D and 1300D matches absolutely.
Now the worst part, Canon 1300D is still not able to compete with Nikon 1+ year old entry level DSLR camera Nikon D3300 ? Sony A58 also comes at approx same price point and gives you very advance core specification.
I agree upto a point that Canon 1300D is a budget camera but why anyone will going to buy 1300D when there are lot of better options available ?

The Canon 1300D have very minor improvements over the Canon 1200D, as you can see from the specification comparison table when we look at Canon 1300D vs Canon 1200D comparison we only spotted the two difference Wireless connectivity and weight/ dimension.
Verdict: For new users we recommend Canon 1300D camera, but for Canon 1200D users we recommend you to wait for Canon 1400D / T7 camera.

However I am disappointed to see the core specification of both the camera is almost same.
The sensor and image processor of both the camera is exactly same and in-turn you will get same image quality from both the camera.
At the end we are unable to find any major difference between these two camera, however Canon added additionally WiFi capability to make sharing images bit easier.
We strongly recommend you to upgrade your camera if you are a owner of Canon 1200D camera.

Today we have received a email form Photografix editor, a german magazine about new cameras and photography and according to them,
We got an interesting info from an anonymous source and maybe that’s also interesting for your readers. Yes, it’s an anonymous source, so we need the usual grain of salt… but I think there is a possibility that the info could be true. Here is the link to our article:The source told us that Canon will announce the 5D Mark IV at The Photography Show in Birmingham (March 19th – 22nd). I see four reasons why this could be true:
- Matches with old rumors that the Mark IV presentation will be before the NAB in April.
- 5D Mark III was shown first at the Photography Show back in 2012.
- 5D Mark III production already ended? And Canon normally needs a few weeks/months until a new camera is available.
- There will definately be a Canon event in the next days because of the EOS 1300D.
Before getting the email many of users and visitors asked the same question that Canon may announce the 5D Mark IV camera at The Photography Show in Birmingham ?.
As I have said several time to my readers and again repeating the same thing here, I don’t think so that Canon will going to announce Canon 5D Mark IV in a UK based event. Canon will select a global platform like NAB show to announce such a flagship product.
After adding Canon Dual-pixel CMOS AF sensor inside Canon 1DX Mark II we are sure that Canon will use same tech inside the Canon 5D Mark IV camera, we have no confirmation about the specification of the camera but few days ago we have received anonymous email and according to the tipster the upcoming Canon 5D mk IV will carry 4K video along with s log gamma support, before that Canon used S log gamma inside Canon EOS C300 and 4K compact camera XC10.
