We are getting contradictory report from Rumor mill, earlier it was rumored that Canon have a Mirrorless announcement on Sep 5, 2018. Now latest rumors says there will be no Mirrorless announcement ahead of Photokina 2018 . Keep in mind that Photokina event starts from Wednesday, 26 September, So the rumors that we were getting in past aren’t true ?
We all know that Canon Registered several DSLRs , Compacts and Mirrorless cameras in the beginning of 2018. Canon also registered Fullframe Mirrorless camera in the beginning of 2018. One of them was having 30 MP FF DPAF sensor at the time of registration.
Now, The last report we have received from trusted sources says, Canon is set to announce Model DS 126721 and PC 2357.

As you can see the DS 126721 also have Three SKU units and that clearly indicates the product has entered into stock pipelines / Mass production. Well, after that we haven’t received any detailed set conformation from the sources.
We have to wait till Photokina
We are getting some rumors related to the Sep first week of announcement, however we are almost confirmed that Canon will going to announce a new high-end Mirrorless product this Photokina if everything goes as schedule.

According to latest rumors Canon is expected to announce a new 600mm F4L IS III lens, the announcement of the lens is rumored to happen on or before photokina event 2018. Canon is also rumored to announce a new Mirrorless camera on Sep 4/5, we have rolled out the list of Canon upcoming lenses in next two years based on the patents they are working on.

We have now the latest list of Canon upcoming products, based on the details available to us the Canon camera model code ready for announcement is DSC 126721. Before we begin take a look at the details

As we have told you earlier also, that this model have three different SKU units (SKU: 3075C003AA, 3075C013AA, 3075C023AA). And the same model code uses the LP-E6 / LP-E6N (or equivalent) battery.
In general the DSLRs model codes starts with DSC and Mirrorless and compacts Model code starts with PC (PC 2357)
So, with these set of specific information we have related to the model code DSC 126721 it only indicate one thing that its DSLR, probably Canon 90D.
Now one more camera is coming and its model code is PC2357, In general PC model code is used for Mirrorless and compacts. The PC 2357 camera is also using the LP-E6N, clearly indicated it’s a high-end compact or a high-end Mirrorless [either FF or APS-C]

Patent Details
The image-capturing apparatus includes a light-emitting unit movable between a retracted position and a light-emitting position at which a light emitter faces a direction different from an image-capturing direction toward an object, and a moving mechanism to rotate the light-emitting unit about a rotation center axis not parallel to the image-capturing direction to move the light-emitting unit between the retracted and light-emitting positions. The moving mechanism is configured such that, at the retracted position, the light emitter is located on an object side further than the rotation center axis located at a first position, and such that, at the light-emitting position, the rotation center axis is located at a second position located on the object side further than the first position. The moving mechanism includes a stopper portion provided to stop the rotation center axis at the second position.
An image-capturing apparatus comprising:
a main body;
a light-emitting unit including a light emitter and being movable relative to the main body between a retracted position and a light-emitting position at which the light emitter faces a direction different from an image-capturing direction toward an object; and

According to latest rumors coming from rumor mills, Canon will announce their new Mirrorless system cameras on Early September 2018. Possibly on 3/4th of September 2018.
The news isn’t new and we have received hints in past that Canon will announce their mirrorless system cameras on or before September 2018. You can check out here.
But the big contradiction to the rumors are we aren’t getting any solid leak, I haven’t seen any leaked image till now nor the rock solid set of specification of the upcoming camera. In general before a month of official announcement, we get Major specs and before 10 to 15 days prior to announcement we get images of the upcoming product. So, let’s assume according to rumor mills if Sep 3/4 is the announcement date of Canon Mirrorless system cameras, than we should have the Major specs of the camera and images before Aug 21 / 22. Just hope for the best and keep your finger crossed.
As we all know that Canon Already Registered two FF Mirrorless camera in the wireless registration agency, and one of the test prototypes was carrying a 30MP FF Sensor inside. Being said that, Photokina is one of the best platform to showcase or announce flagship cameras or lenses. Again we have seen in past that all camera companies massively use Photokina platform to announce their high-end cameras.

Canon register a new compact camera today, the code name of the camera PC 2357. The camera first surfaced at Indonesian wireless certification agency. The camera have wireless module WM 600, which is now found in most of the Canon compact, mirrorless and DSLR cameras. According to the Registration List, Canon have only one compact camera registered at wireless certification Agencies. So we can’t expect any more compacts in few moths, possibly we will G or SX Series compact is next.
We have been told in past the Canon G7X Mark III is coming with new 1inch DPAF sensor, 4K video and lot’s of enhanced feature. At the same time Canon G5X Mark II and Canon SX100 HS arrival is also expected in near future.
We will be getting more information about the upcoming compacts, FF Mirrorless and DSLRs from Canon in next few weeks, So stay with us
