According to latest rumors Canon is working on three different sensors for upcoming full frame mirror-less camera. The three different variants include 24mp, 28mp and 36mp of DPAF Sensors.
So, it’s really interesting to see what coming next. We have seen patents related to advance DPAF sensor tech. We do expect Canon will sure going to implement advance DPAF or may be Quad pixel AF in their upcoming flagship Mirrorless cameras.
Upcoming Camera Code Name starts with Z
Rumor mills says that the upcoming camera name starts with Z Well we have seen, the officially registered camera model code name starts with K, for example K433, K424 and the pro compacts camera or APS-C Mirrorless name starts with EC, for example the EC801 and EC804. So, the sources are possibly talking about internal code name.
Announcement on September, Imagine a 5D Mark IV camera without Mirror
More confirmations suggest the upcoming camera is a Mirrorless version of existing Canon 5D Mark IV and will going to have 4K Video at 30/24FPS. And we will going to see first FF Mirrorless camera on September / Photokina 2018 event.

According to latest rumors coming from reputed rumor mills Canon 90D is coming this year. well that’s not a new news,. and we have received several hints in the past (Canon 90D Coming in Late 2018) that Canon 90D is coming in 2018. One more confirmation that Canon 90D will have 4K video and later we will have 4K in upcoming Rebels also.
Well Canon introduced 4K inside Canon EOS M50 which cost approx $400 less than Canon 80D. So, it’s obvious that Canon 90D camera will have 4K with DPAF. We have seen Canon is working on advance DPAF as well as Quad pixel AF system, possibly those features are saved for Upcoming High-End Mirrorless and Pro DSLRs.
Canon 850D / T8i to Have 4K without DPAF
We have received hints in past that Next Rebel camera from Canon will going to have 4K video mode. But, after the announcement of Canon EOS M50 camera we got a silent confirmation that yes, the rumor was true.
From the price difference between the two we can say that next generation of REBEL camera will have 4K inside. Yes, probably the same limited 4K video mode as we have seen inside the Canon EOS M50, limited 4K without DPAF support. Why limited 4K in Canon camera despite of having DPAF sensors ? well to save the sales number of Canon High-End DSLRs / Mirrorless models.

Canon enters in the image sensor market and three of its sensor are available for sale. And even if you want a specific one than Canon do have a space for it.
Well it is a easy process to get the Canon sensors if you want. You have to just contact the Canon authorized sensor distributor Phase 1. The Phase 1 have the list of commercially available sensors from Canon that also includes the 120 megapixel APS-H sensor and more. Take an look at the list of commercially available Canon sensors.

In the beginning of the list we have the Canon 120MP APS-H sensor, which is also available for sale for industrial use. The 120MP is an ultra-high resolution CMOS sensor with 13280 x 9184 effective pixels (approx. 60x the resolution of Full HD). It has a size equivalent to APS-H (29.22mm x 20.20mm), and a square pixel arrangement of 2.2µm x 2.2µm with 122 million effective pixels.
Canon have also listed 5 megapixel monogram and RGB colour sensor for smartphones. that features high sensitivity and 120 frames per second continuous shooting speed while having resolution of 5 megapixels.
Send the list of senses we also have a 2.2 megapixel RGB and colour full frame sensor. the sensor is of course made for low light performance. you will surprise to know that each pixels of the sensor is approx 19µm x 19µm (square) in Size.

So you can get all these three sensors while contacting Phase 1 distributor. And if you want a specific sensor from Canon you have to fill-up Canon specific form and select the last option.
Well as we all know Sony Keeps Its Best Sensors for Its Own Cameras, So Canon do have very good business opportunity if they start selling DPAF sensors to other Camera makers.

Canon was rumored to announce a new 70-200mm lens back in April. But the announcement of the lens didn’t happen. Now based on latest rumors coming from veteran rumor mill that the lens announcement is delayed and the next possible date of announcement is Photokina 2018 event or may be prior to the event. No further information is available and we will sure update you soon as we get any new information.

We were first to tell you that Canon will now use 1″ DPAF sensor in its upcoming compact camera. Now, we have leaked specification of the upcoming Canon G7X Mark III camera. According to the leaked specification, the upcoming compact will have 1″ 24 Megapixel Dual Pixel CMOS AF Sensor. The Continuous shooting speed of the camera is rumored to be 10FPS. Earlier the burst speed of Canon G7X Mark II was limited upto 8fps, so its a decent improvement compared to the predecessor.

Canon G7X Mark II With Limited 4K
One of the most important feature, Canon G7X Mark III is rumored to be the first Canon compact camera to feature 4K videos. But at the same time sources also say that 4K mode may not get the DPAF support. Well, we have a logical approach to justify this rumor. That, G7X Mark III camera will not going to have DPAF in video because, Canon want to save some features for Canon G5X Mark II camera. A high-end model which sits above the G7X series. As they have done with EOS M50 Mirrorless camera to save if the sales of EOS M5 Mark II (to be announced Pro APS-C Mirrorless camera).
Well the lens of the camera is expected to remain same as of its predecessor, and one of the major improvement we will see is the introuction of 3″ articulating touch screen, G7X Mark II was having tilting touch display screen, which was a bit problematic thing for Vloggers. The announcement time of camera isn’t know, sources suggest that the announcement is about to happen in 2018. According to latest rumors coming from veteran rumor mills, Canon is preparing to announce a new kind of camera. based , sources suggest the camera will be somehow similar to Canon XC series cinema compact camera but will have an EF Mount.
The design of the camera is expected to remain similar to Canon XC15 compact cinema camera. As you can see in the patent image below, the camera having similar shape of XC series camera while having interchangeable lens arrangement with it.

In general when lens is being used by photographers in direct sunlight for hours the temperature inside the lens is raised and which affects the overall optical performance of the lens. Latest patent suggest that Canon wants to improve the heat insulation coating over its high-end lenses to prevent overheating of lenses.
