Panasonic G80 image and specification leaked today along with Panasonic FZ2000, so its very clear that Panasonic will have a three major announcement this Photokina that includes Panasonic GH5, Panaonic GX80 and Panasonic FZ2000.
Canon EOS M5 finally announced by Canon. The camera features same sensor as Canon 80D camera and high end core specification that can directly compete with flasgships cameras such as Panasonic GX8 and Sony A6300.
As we all know the Canon 80D sensor features on-chip Analog to digital converter circuit on sensor, that makes it a excellent low-light performer and while comparing both the camera we found that the sensor even perform better than the Canon 7D Mark II camera.
Now let’s talk about the Canon EOS M5 camera, the camera features 24.2 MP Dual-pixel CMOS AF sensor paired with Digic 7 image processor. Keep in mind it’s the first time Canon using Digic 7 image sensor in any high-end camera.
The standard ISO sensitivity range of the camera is 100-25600, Canon EOS M5 can shoot 9 frames per/sec @24MP and 7 frames per second when continuous AF is on.
Full HD limitation, the biggest drawback of Canon EOS M5 is despite of being announced on 2016 it’s still shoot Full HD videos and not 4K.
For the first time a Canon camera uses 5 axis electronic image stabilization system, Well as far as we know Canon EOS M series lenses already have built-in IS so it will be a two way image stabilization system in the Canon for first time. On the rear side we have touch LCD display so users can touch and shoot.
We will soon publish the specification comparison of the camera
