According to latest rumors Canon will announce a 6K Cinema camera in 2018. The name of the camera is is expected to be Cinema EOS C900 and likely to arrive during NAB show on April or just after that. As usual the camera will carry a dedicated 6K FF sensor and Triple Digic DV 6 or 7 image processor. The core specification of the camera isn’t know yet but as the rumor mill says, it will compete against the Sony CineAlta VENICE 6K camera.

According to latest rumors Canon 135mm (B&H | Amazon) Lens is coming in first half of 2018. We do expect Photo and Imagine show (March 1-4 2018) is the best time for such lens announcement. The lens was announced on April 1996 and it doesn’t have built in IS, above all the lens is more than 20 year old and at that time there was no DPAF, so we do believe that the next version of the 135mm lens will carry advance optics, IS and AF motors inside.
BTW, if you are interested in getting 135mm lens for portrait work then you should get Sigma 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art Lens (Amazon) for Canon mount.

Canon 2000D early specification hit our mailbox few days ago. And for those who are new, you must know that Few weeks ago we got confirmation that next entry level DSLR name will be 2000D instead of 1400D. Canon 7D Mark III camera is expected to arrive sometime in March of 2018. Based on the information we have received (via rumor mill) the upcoming camera will going to feature 4K video mode as well as C log support.
We don’t expect any dramatic improvement in the Core specification of the existing 7D mark 2 camera. So, the upcoming Canon 7D Mark III camera could be extension of existing 7D Mark II Camera (7D Mk II Deals).

 Canon 850D creative image Canon 850D / T8i Coming in 2018 September ? According to latest rumors coming from anonymous sources Canon 850D is coming in Q4 of 2018. Possibly in September of 2018 during Photokina event.

Introduction of 4K will make big impact on DSLR market since most of Videobloggers will going to buy this camera in no time due to DPAF sensor and 4K Video.
If Canon goes on its schedule update then also the Canon 850D / T8i is coming on Feb 2019. So, There isn’t much difference between the rumored announcement date and the scheduled update time.
