Voltrox to soon announce 30-300mm Cinema Lens [10X in total zoom] with an aperture of F4. It will be available in Sony E, Leica L, and PL mounts. It is a manual focus lens designed for filmmaking, and it is the first lens in the “Luna” series. The price has not been announced yet. That also means new range of viltrox LUNA series of Lenses will arrive of Cinema Cameras in 2024 – 2025. Viltrox will soon announce a new series of batteries for cameras. These batteries are made for Canon, Fuji, and Sony cameras respectively.
All of these batteries offer direct Type-C charging, so you don’t have to buy an additional charger for them.
Viltrox announced today that the AF 20mm f/2.8 lens will be available for sale on October 30. Pre-orders are now open at the B&H store. The lens is composed of 10 elements in 8 groups and uses a 52mm filter thread. The minimum focusing distance of the lens is 0.19 meters, and it uses a stepping drive motor for focusing. The weight of the lens is only 157 grams.
Viltrox’s new AF20mm F2.8 FE image is not available online. It is a full-frame autofocus lens that can be used on Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. It uses an optical structure of 10 elements in 8 groups and 7 aperture blades. Recently, with a Focusing distance 0.19m, 52mm filter interface, the lens features an STM focus motor, an internal focusing system, a lens size of approximately 64.8*59.5mm, a weight of less than 189 grams, priced at only $899, and is expected to be officially released in late October. Viltrox announced 3 new lenses for the DL mount and the DJI mount. These three new lenses are 24/35/50 mm while having MAX aperture of f1.8.We will soon update this post with their price a specification and arrival time About DL Mount: The DL mount is independently developed by DJI and was first used on the Zenmuse X7 gimbal released in October 2017. Later, it was used on the DJI Ronin 4D movie camera, DJI Inspire 3 full-frame gimbal camera Zenmuse X9, and it is used on 8K Air. So, this is just the beginning, and in the near future, we will see more lenses from Viltrox as well as other third-party lens makers too.
