After the announcement of Fuji XF200mm F2 Lens they have also announced a roadmap of upcoming lenses. And according to the road-map there are two lenses, XF16mm F2.8 WR and XF16-80mmF4 R OIS WR, which are due to announce on the 2019 and one lens XF33mmF1 R WR is schedule to arrive somewhere around 2020. Yes, the XF33 mm F1.0 is first Mirrorless lens in the world made for Fuji cameras and features F1.0 aperture.

By announcing road map of lenses Fuji film always does a great job. Based, on the road map you can clearly see the list of lenses expected to arrive in near future, that will sure going to encourage new users to get a Fuji system camera. In a Press statement, Fuji also said that they will going to boost up the production of lenses up to 70%.
At the end I am going to say that Fuji must also put some of its attention in announcing affordable lenses for entry level users those who are purchasing the XT 100 camera or x A5. If you are going to buy the Fuji 50 mm lens then the price of that lens despite having weather sealed feature is too high compared to the Canon 50 mm lenses for even Nikon’s. Same in the case of 18-135 MM lens, Fuji lenses are way too expensive compared to the DSLR lenses. So, my only request to Fuji is this should put some of their attention in creating lenses for entry level users.

Fuji announced a new XF 200mm R LM OIS WR telephoto lens today. The lens will be paired with 1.4x teleconverter. And price of total package will be $6000. The lens will become available from last week of October The XF 1.4X TC F2 WR teleconverter boosts the focal length of the lens to 280mm. FOr more details take a look at the press release

Valhalla, N.Y., July 20, 2018 – FUJIFILM North America Corporation today announced the new FUJINON XF8-16mmF2.8 R LM WR Lens, an ultra-wide angle zoom lens with a constant maximum aperture of F2.8 and focal length equivalent to 12-24mm (35mm format). Capable of providing outstanding edge to edge image-resolving performance, this lens is perfect for landscape and architecture photography such as interior and nightscape, and astrophotography.
Also announced today is the new FUJINON XF200mmF2 R LM OIS WR Telephoto Lens, the first super-fast telephoto lens in the XF lens lineup, offering a fast maximum aperture of F2.0 and a focal length equivalent to 305mm (35mm format). This lens boasts exceptional image clarity with the ability to produce beautiful bokeh, making it an ideal lens for shooting sports and wildlife.
The XF200mmF2 R LM OIS WR lens will only be available as a kit, paired with the high performance XF1.4X TC F2 WR Teleconverter to extend the focal length by 1.4 times to cover a focal length equivalent to 427mm at F2.8 (35mm format).

The XF200mmF2 R LM OIS WR Telephoto Lens is made of 19 elements in 14 groups, including one large-diameter super ED lens element and two large-diameter ED lens elements to minimize chromatic aberration. High-precision polishing technology, developed for broadcast lenses, was applied to the large-diameter lens to achieve outstanding image-resolving performance and beautiful bokeh. The lens also features a new Focus Preset function that instantaneously changes the focus to a preset position, enabling photographers to capture the main subject with ease, and without having to make focal readjustments.
Utilizing linear motors, the XF200mmF2 R LM OIS WR achieves fast, silent and high-precision AF performance, and also features a new mechanism that fixes the motor group when the camera is not in use to reduce movement of the focusing group. In addition, the lens offers 5-stop image stabilization performance that recognizes shooting conditions and automatically applies optimum image stabilization control. With magnesium alloy construction, the lens is lightweight yet robust, and is sealed at 17 points and designed to be weather and dust-resistant, and operates in temperatures as low as 14°F/-10°C.

Fuji finally announced Fuji XF 10 camera today, the Fuji XF 10 camera features or 24 megapixel APS format sensor. And with this camera you can also record 4K videos however the frame rate is remains limited to 15 frames per second.
The lens of the camera remain same and you get the same 18 MM lens as we have already seen with the predecessor Fuji x70 camera. The camera feature brand new 24 megapixel sensor, and the ISO range of the camera goes up to 51200 whereas the standard ISO range remains limited to 12800.

Finally Fuji XF10 camera specification and images leaked, the camera features 24.2 megapixels APS-C sensor, and the camera is also able to record 4K videos but limited upto 15 frames per second.
Fuji XF 10 camera is actually a successor of Fuji x70 camera (now discountinued), Fuji X-F10 camera does arrived with massive upgrade. The new camera carries a completely new 24 megapixels APS-C format sensor camera and also records 4K video. However, it is limited to 15 frames per second.

It’s a better initiative by Sony to keep alive the 27-70mm Compact lens system camera. So in near feature we may see a new and bright aperture based lens coming with the RX100 V Series camera.

Our recommendation – If you already own the Sony RX100V camera then you no need to upgrade, since more or less you will going to get the same image quality since the sensor is same. You can wait for the second generation of camera to arrive with a new sensor. If you are planning to get a new RX100 camera and you are happy with 24-70mm lens (the RX100 VI offers 24-200mm) then RX100 VA camera is best for you.

Nikon full frame mirrorless camera announcement is expected next week on Monday. Now let’s talk in brief what we know about the upcoming Nikon full frame mirrorless camera till now.
We know that two models are coming right now, however there is slight difference, the higher resolution model (45 megapixel) is coming next week and 24 megapixel model is scheduled to and I update late possibly during photokina 2018 event.
The shipping of the model announced next week is expected to start from the end of August or maybe from the very beginning of September. According to the rumors, the upcoming Nikon 45 megapixel full frame mirrorless camera will cost around $4670 and 24 megapixel full frame mirrorless camera cost is approx $2900.

- Over 400 auto-focus in points however the exact number is not known yet.
- 2 full frame mirrorless camera coming, one with 24mp and one with 45 MP
- 5-axis in body image stabilization

- The new mirrorless will going to allow F0.95 lenses.
- Electronic viewfinder with 3.6 megapixel resolution.

The official announcement is expected for the end of July most probably on July 23rd.
