According to latest rumors coming from from trusted rumor Mills, Canon will use 26 megapixel Sony IMX 571 APS-C sensor in its upcoming flagship APS-C DSLR and Mirrorless cameras.
So, for now you can safely assume that Canon 7D Mark III sensor will be designed by Canon, but manufactured by Sony. It will be a win win situation for consumers since we will be getting Canon color science and DPAF technology on Sony’s Dynamic range and low-light performance.
As we all know Sony do make sensors based on their clients need, based on rumors we already know that Fuji is also using IMX571 26 megapixel X-Trans CMOS sensor for its Fuji XT 3 camera.

Sony RX1 R II camera finally discontinued by a Swedish retailer, it’s a kind of silent confirmation that Sony is clearing up the stock pipeline for its next Fullframe Compact Camera, Sony RX1 R III announcement.
A while ago we got some hints about the replacement of Sony RX1R II camera. The camera is said to have built-in 5 axis IS and improved video codec. However, there are also some speculations about introduction of Sony’s Medium format sensors.
The Sony RX1R II was announced on Oct, 2015. The tech inside the Sony Sony RX1R II, (Amazon | B&H) $3.2K camera is bit old and the camera remains limited to Full HD video recording as well as it doesn’t feature Built-in or optical IS.

In an recent interview with Sony Kenji Tanaka, VP and Senior General Manager of Sony’s Business Unit at dpreview, We got very strong hints by him that upcoming Sony A7S III camera will have the 4K/60p, 4:2:2 10-bit and Bigger Battery Life.

Now let’s talk about the set of information we actually have and the possible scenario of Sony next announcement. It’s look like sony is now done with its Fullframe camera announcements and finally we will be having some great APS-C Mirrorless camera announcement ahead.
In an interview with Sony manager Mr. Tanka at photokina 2018 news event, he said

No new camera in Announcement Pipeline for now

Creative Image of Sony Upcoming Flaghip camera We have again received some confirmation from reputed rumor mill that Sony is rumored to announce flagship camera soon. Initial set of leaked information suggest that upcoming camera will have a 20FPS shooting speed with a completely redesigned body.

Again in the leaked specs the sources of the reputed rumor mill suggest the EVF is now placed at center instead of its regular position we have seen in the Sony A6XXX series camera. We may see introduction of brand new series from Sony to combat the Fuji X-T3 and Panasonic G9 camera offerings. Or may be Sony planning to introduce a new body similar to Sony A9 or Sony A7, under the name of Sony A6xxx series models.
More or less only time will tell, if we believe the rumored announcement date of the camera then we have 1 week of time left in announcement. But the most suspicious thing is Japanese sources are completely silent and they aren’t getting any leaked specs or upcoming product images.
So, just hope for the best and let’s hope this time we aren’t getting any false date of announcement.
