A new Canon patent appeared today, according to the patent the camera the upcoming Dual-pixel AF CMOS sensor will carry built-in ND filter.
As we know that the with Dual Pixel CMOS AF, the amount of lens drive is calculated from the amount of signal difference (amount of shift) in the AF points. When the signals of two photodiode are in agreement the Focus is achieved. Now according to the patent one (1) of the photodiode will have ND filter and another one will not… in that way the half of the sensor photodiodes will have ND filter and half of of them are normal pixels and it depend upon users to switch on normal of ND filter mode… this tech will help to expand the dynamic range of the camera.

 Leica Teaser – Fullframe Compact Coming on June 11 Leica is fully prepared to announce a Fixed Lens fullframe compact camera on June 11, 2015. As you can see above the teaser image surfaced at Meister-camera.com website, take a look at the rumored specification of the camera below.
1) The size of the camera is smaller than Leica monochrome camera.
2) The camera has a 28mm summilux 1.7 fixed lens on top of the fullframe sensor.
3) The Camera has built in image stabilization, sensor shift.

 Sony RX1 – Best Fullframe compact camera ever made Finally Leica is putting a step forward in the world of fixed Lens fullframe compact camera and after a long wait we will going to see a fullframe compact camera made by Leica Germany itself. However, one thing is sure the biggest lag of Leica is the Price vs Features ratio of any Leica camera, In general Leica products are overpriced and purchased by a particular class of of photographers. I don’t think Leica Can introduce a real Sony RX1/R competitor anytime soon or in near future.

According to latest buzz floating over the web Sony RX100 M4 may arrive in June 2015. That’s look bit true to me since every year on the month of June Sony updates its RX100 series compact camera, So we do have a strong hope that this year also we will see the same trend from Sony.
The other major factor supporting this rumor is the leaked document of wikileaks, according to the document Sony will bring Sony A7R II, Sony A7000 and new compact RX series camera (possibly RX100 M4) this year.
We are getting constant information from various sources that the upcoming camera may pack 4/3 format sensor inside the RX100M 4 by maintaining the same size and shape as of the current RX100 M3 camera….. We also believe that it can be possible since Sony listed 2 new M4/3 sensor in their Product Line up page of US website on April 14th, 2015, so soon or later we are sure use the sensor in upcoming RX series compact camera… either RX100 series or a new one.
So finally we will a 4/3 sensor based compact camera that will capture high quality images and will also record 4K videos , a true competitor of the Panasonic LX100 camera.
