Latest patent document surfaced over the web suggest us that Canon is working on a variable low-pass filter. Adding a variable low-pass filter to DSLR will sure increase the image quality of the camera. Many of the Pentax DSLRs are using the variable low-pass filter from past few years but Canon is still in the process to implement it.

Take a look at the more details below
Patent Publication No. 2016-173437
Published 2016.9.29

According to latest rumors coming the Sony A7III camera shipping will start from Q2 of 2017. That clearly indicates that Sony will announce the Sony A7 III camera on CP+ show at February or may be earlier. But I don’t think Sony will use the international event like CP+ show to announce its next Sony A7 series camera.
We have published earlier that not only Sony A7 III, approx 6 major Sony camera delayed due to due to recent earthquake in Japan. But after that Sony released Sony A99 II, and then Sony RX100 M5 and now its look like the next big announcement from Sony is Sony A7 III camera.
We will update you soon as we get any new information.

We are waiting for Canon SX60 HS successor for more than two years and no update arrived till now. We are now considering the Canon SX70HS as a dead camera.
Canon does have 3 100X optical zoom patent ( patent 1 patent 2 and patent 3) but when they will announce a 100X camera no one knows.
Sony HX100V was the last Sony megazoom camera announced on 2011, no successor arrived yet.
Sony almost crushed the production of small sensors compact camera and they also killed their megazoom series a while ago, the last megazoom compact camera from Sony was Sony HX400V announced on Feb, 2011.
After killing small sensor based compacts Sony concentrated on development of 1″+ sensor based RX series camera. And now we have new breed of compacts
Similarly Canon is also putting its concentration on 1″ sensor based compacts, they also killed Canon G16 successor along with other small sensor based compacts camera.
Nikon also announced its DL series compacts but due to some serious issues production is still halted. At the same time Nikon is also giving attention to popular small sensor based Megazoom camera. Nikon Announced Nikon P900 (83X zoom) last year. But now due to the absence of perfect rival Nikon skipped the announcement of Nikon P900 successor. No one present to compete against a year old Nikon P900.

We are really very disappointed to see the delay in the announcement in the successor of Panasonic LX100 camera, earlier it was rumored that Panasonic LX200 is coming in September 2016 but surprisingly we haven’t seen any announcement yet.
The Good News is based on the information we have received a week ago, we may see some exciting announcement from Panasonic between in next three months.
Panasonic LX100 discontinued

Best buy listed Panasonic LX100 in discontinued camera list. The LX100 product page is also removed by bustbuy.com a month ago. It’s a clear indication that online website are clearing the stock of LX100 for LX200 camera.
Be assured that LX200 isn’t dead and one of the biggest reason behind the delay of camera announcement is absence of a perfect rival, Canon G1X Mark III and Fuji X100 F announcement is also overdue and expected to arrive in Dec or Jan 2017.
We will update you soon as we get any new information
