Patent Details
To suppress the deterioration of the image quality of an image output to an external device while reducing the temperature inside a device.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes output means that outputs an image obtained by imaging means to an external device, processing means that can execute the operation by switching first operation in which the processing at the time of shooting the image is reduced as compared with the shooting during the shooting standby, or second operation in which the processing at the time of shooting the image is the same regardless of whether the image is waiting for shooting or during shooting, and control means that allows the processing means to execute the first operation when the output means does not output the image to the external device, and prohibits the processing means from executing the first operation when the output means outputs the image to the external device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

2. User Define Silent Mode and AI Silent Mode in DSLRs
Canon is working to reduce the Lens AF and shutter Mechanical sound ( optional electronic shutter ) in Professional DSLR bodies in some specific situations and modes. A dedicated silent mode for photographers and when the camera detects animals in the frame it switches off shutter noise Automatically with the help of AI deep learning programs.
The present invention relates to an image pickup control device such as a digital camera.
When shooting with an imaging control device such as a digital camera, a shutter sound and a lens driving sound are generated. The loudness of the generated sound changes depending on the settings such as the shutter method of the imaging control device, but the setting for suppressing the generation of sound is not always suitable for the shooting situation in terms of the shooting function. Therefore, depending on the situation, the setting that suppresses the generation of sound and the setting that prioritizes the shooting function are switched, but when the situation changes frequently, it takes an operation turn to switch the setting, and there is a shooting opportunity. There was a scene where I missed.
Conventionally, a device has been proposed in which an imaging control device determines that sound generation should be suppressed when a subject such as an animal is mainly detected, and automatically switches to a setting for suppressing sound or light generation

We do know Canon XC-15 is an excellent camera, but the camera remains limited to a certain consumer base due to the fact that many people including cinematographers out there believe the small 1-inch sensor and the 15 8.9 – 89mm Zoom Lens with f/2.8 – f/5.6 aperture limit their creativity.
The patent isn’t New, But Canon is still working on this
Although the patent isn’t new, we have already discussed this patent back in 2018. The reason behind this post is that Canon is still working over this patent. And there is still a strong possibility that we will see a Canon XC Style Mirrorless Camera with RF-Mount.
