Canon G7X Mark IV camera was expected to arrive in 2021 but was delayed due to the global pandemic and chip shortages issues. We hope and expect this year we will have the new generation of the 1-inch sensor with DPAF capability.

I am owner of G7X Mark III and ZV1 both, but frankly speaking, I hate Sony plastic skin texture and color tones… hope Canon will bring out something better for us

I have Canon G7x mark II. It is my secnd camera (primary is 5D mark IV). G7x is very good travel camer! My wish is GPS in new camera G7x mark IV.

I Have a canon powershot g7x mk II near at the end of life…… I want to change it, but MK III is too similar.
I have seen this, or better id like an update of g5x mk II (it have a 24-120 F1.8 F2.8 lens) and electronic viewfinder….. with 25600 iso……..
I hope the new g7x o new g5x are cooming soon….. it is one year that I’m waiting for…..

For me it is important type of camera because I Use this type of camera in climbing, scubadiving, snowshues…. reflex in this case are too big

It’s almost the end of 2023 but we haven’t heard any news from Canon about this camera. I don’t want to buy the mark III if the IV is going to be released soon.
Still nothing on G5X mk3 and G7X mk4 while Sony has no problems releasing new compact cameras like ZV-1 II. Covid cant be the excuse anymore. Canon simply doesnt care for fans of Powershot cameras and they are just killing of their cameras in general. First their Eos M series and now Powershot G series as it looks. Shame in you Canon!
