Canon EOS C300 have Dual pixel AF CMOS Fullframe Sensor inside (see how dual pixel AF work) and you can upgrade your C300 camera by visiting nearest service center. By enabling Dual pixel AF you get fast and more accurate AF, the camera now also offer Continuous AF (Autofocus) Function for all Canon EF autofocus Lenses, for more details see the press release. But the upgrade is not free and Canon USA will perform this feature upgrade at a cost of $500, and will require that EOS C300 cameras be sent to an accredited Canon service center. Canon EOS C300 Press Release: The accredited Canon service center installed feature upgrade for the EOS C300 camera is targeted at users who regularly shoot with smaller crews, who shoot moving subjects, or who want smoother, more natural-looking autofocus. We have seen the image quality of SD1 (multilayer Foveon) sensor is extremely good at base ISO range (100, 200), …the color output of multilayer sensor is matchless to its APS-C competitors at ISO 100…but high amount of noise starts at 1600… and image become un-usable when we reach ISO 3200… We are very excited to hear the news and we will soon publish the high ISO test images of Sigma DP2 Quattro as they become available… via-sigmarumor
