We do know that the pocket 4 and 4p did receive FCC certification before the Dec 25 ban, but as per the latest press information, DJI says the camera isn’t available in the US because of “pending authorization.” A lot of people assumed it was banned, but that’s not really accurate.
First of all the authorization status has been shifted to pending from approved, which means its un indecision state. The Ban was initially added to drones but newly launched non-drone products are also waiting for approval despite clearing the FCC test.
Important part: For personal use, importing one (or up to three) units is allowed under FCC rules. It’s not considered contraband for regular people bringing it in for themselves. The drone-related bans and Covered List stuff don’t apply the same way to this camera.

You Can Wait for Xtra Muse 2 PRO
If you can wait, some are holding out to see if DJI eventually releases it properly in the US or if an “Xtra” rebranded version shows up with local warranty support. In the meantime, the regular Pocket 3 is still excellent and easy to buy in the US.
