Sigma has today announced the supply shortage of its highly popular 200mm F2 DG OS lens. The lens was become highly popular even before its announcement, thanks to its impressive focal length and aperture range. At the same time, preorders [ B&H Store] for the lens began on August 21, 2025, at 10 a.m., and the scheduled shipping time for the lens is from September 4, 2025. But just after two days, Sigma has received a huge amount of preorders for the 200mm lens, and they are really grateful for that. At the very same time, they are a bit worried that the shipments may get delayed to customers who are preordering after 23 or 24 August 2025. So, you will be in the pipeline of receiving the lens; otherwise, after September 5, the lens will get out of stock due to its high demand and then you have to keep your eye always on the stock status, or you have to click on the Notify Me button.
