Olympus will finally discontinue the XZ compact camera line according to latest rumors, now Olympus will focus on the development of large sensor compact camera just like recently announced Panasonic LX100 M4/3 …. now if we can look at the previous rumors published from rumors mills.. the company is already working on Digital Version of Trip 35 camera … so finally we we may see a retro looking for pro compact camera from Olympus any time soon.

Panasonic showed the expected sales volume of mirrorless camera in 2016 during a presentation event at Tokyo (image via: DC.watch), the sales volume mirrorless systems is against the total number of DSLRs sales in 2016, more or less but the fact looks true to me since the mirrorless market is slowly and steadily eating-up the DSLR market from 2012.

 We are almost confirmed that Panasonic LX100 will sure feature a M4/3 format based large sensor and and ISO range upto 25600, take a look at the detailed specification below
- 10.9–34mm f/1.7–2.8 ASPH lens (24-75mm equivalent)
- 4/3 sensor
- 2.8MP EVF
- 3″ LCD screen
- Built-in Wi-Fi, NFC
- Max ISO: 25,600
- 4k video
The lens quality is also good and features F1.7 aperture at wide-end and F2.8 aperture at tele-end, you get very high resolution EVF with 2.8 megapixel screen resolution and a option to record 4K videos.
The LX100 is said be the successor of LX7 camera and but also keep in mind that no LX8 is coming in future, Panasonic tweaked the camera name (LX8 to LX100) with change in sensor size.

UPDATE – Pentax upcoming camera name is not Q2 it’s Q-S1
Pentax Q2 Q-S1 camera images leaked today and expected to announce anytime soon, the camera will be available in black, gold, white and gunmetal colors. however no details about the specification available yet.
Pentax Q is a mirrorless system that uses small 1/1.7″ CMOS Sensor, same size of sensor used in Nikon P310, P7000, Canon S200 and Canon G16 cameras.

The Olympus E-PL7 specification leaked once again and its same as we have published few days ago, according to the Japanese source the Olympus E-PL7 is coming out very soon (within few weeks) in USA, take a look at below (translated by google)

Is it possible? according to the latest rumors surfaced at web that Olympus will add 4K video recording feature in E-M1 camera via a firmware upgrade. The upcoming upgrade will also add a new features / improved user interface for video shooters.

We told you earlier that Samsung NX400 Coming on Q1 of 2015, now we are getting more confirmations and details, Samsung is going to announce two different models – NX400 and NX400-evf camera in January 2015. NX400 will feature optional tiltable evf and flippable display and NX400-EVF will feature embedded tiltable evf and tiltable display. Most of the specification of both the camera will be same.
Both camera will feature same 28 MP HYBRID Sensor and can shoot the full resolution images at 6/8fps. Rest of the specification are below:-
Two versions: nx400 and nx400-evf Coming
Former with optional tiltable evf and flippable display, latter with embedded tiltable evf and tiltable display
1/8000 mechanical shutter
