Canon is not using it’s 7 year old sensor in Canon T7 camera, and it’s a really great news for all of us that Canon finally retired the 18MP sensor from entry level Tx series which was first introduced with Canon 7D camera. The new 24 MP sensor features better image quality, noise control and dynamic range compared to the Canon T6 camera.

Despite of having high resolution sensor, the camera is able to maintain same ISO numbers as of Canon T6 camera.  However, the new sensor gives better low-light performance compared to Canon T6 camera.

The continuous shooting speed of the new Canon T7 camera matches with Canon T6, despite of having a higher resolution sensor. The Buffer of the camera is also improved, now you are getting 24MP raw files upto 11 frames whereas the T6 was limited to 6 frame in a row.

Yongnuo YN450 Micro 4/3 Android Smart Camera Exhibited at CP Plus Event

We have told you back on Oct 2018 that Yongnuo working on smart camera. Finally, Android Micro 4/3 Camera showcased by Yongnuo during CP+ event. The camera prototype exhibited in the CP+event.  As you can see the camera is coming with EF lens mount, soon it will become available for different mounts. Initially the camera uses a 16MP M4/3 sensor, on the rear side we have a, 5″ multi-touch 1080p display, as well as a 4G SIM card slot for instant content sharing. The camera will be announced in China first in the April month of 2019, no word about global announcement.

Olympus E-M1X Dynamic Range is worse than E-M1 Mark II

According to latest sensor test  details coming out by Photons to Photo website. The dynamic range of E-M1X camera is less compared to the 2+ year old Olympus E-M1 Mark II camera. Btw, we do know that both camera uses same sensor and AF system.
So, it’s a little surprise for me at least, that Olympus E-M1X Dynamic range isn’t better than of Olympus E-M1 Mark II.

Nikon Z5 Coming Soon, to Compete against EOS RP

According to latest reports coming from CP+ show, Nikon will soon announce the Nikon Z5 Mirrorless camera to compete against EOS RP and Affordable Sony A7 series cameras.

We are not talking about rumors right now. At the CP+ show in Japan a Nikon executive confirmed that a new Z series camera coming soon.

It’s really interesting to see what core specs Nikon Z5 will carry to satisfy  consumer demands while having $1000 price tag. We do expect the camera will carry same sensor as of Nikon Z6
