According to Canon the 2000d camera is a successor of Canon 1300D / Canon T6. let’s have a look the major difference between the two
As you can clearly see Canon introduced a new 24 megapixel aps-c CMOS sensor inside the Canon 2000d camera
Despite of adding a new sensor the camera is still using 10 year old image processor that is also being used by its predecessor Canon 1300D
Since the sensor is new so we can expect better image quality Canon 2000D. The image processor of the camera remains same as of its predecessor and also the maximum ISO range remains exactly same as of its predecessor. So we can expect some improvement in the low light performance, but even they added the new sensor inside the camera they kept the same ISO range between the two. If a company is adding a new sensor this should also increase the ISO range, it is quite obvious isn’t it so.
Built in wireless NFC and Wi-Fi connectivity is only available in the new camera call Canon T7 / 2000D.

Finally the Canon next entry level DSLR camera images Canon 1400D leaked today via fcc. According to our upcoming camera code list the name of the camera is KissX90, So its name will going to be Canon 1400D as we expect.

Canon 2000D May arrive as Canon next entry level DSLR. Earlier it was expected that Canon 1400D is coming based on the name trend followed by Canon. But according to the latest Registration document surfaced over the Russian Certification agencies, Canon Registered several product names those includes Canon 2000D, 3000D and 4000D.

Latest leaked details from Japanese website suggest that the upcoming entry level DSLR from Canon will going to have a fixed rear LCD screen as well as the dimension of the DSLR is exactly same as of its predecessor.
After the registration of DSLR in wireless certification Agencies, the product takes hardly takes two to three months to get announced. That clearly indicates maybe in Q1 of 2018 we are going to see Canon 1400D DSLR.
This is not the first time, we have already told you (See here and here) that we are getting information that next entry level DSLR from Canon is coming on January or February of 2018.

Canon 1400D details surfaced at wireless certification agency. The registration document doesn’t reveals too much details but it do says that upcoming Canon DSLR will have built-in WiFi with a dimension of W129.0 mm × H 101.6 mm × D 77.1 mm (Canon 1300D dimension was 129 x 101 x 78 mm ), so both are exactly same.
