Leica TL2 announced with New 24 MP Sensor and 4K Video

Leica TL2 announced today with 24 MP sensor, features 20 frames per second continuous shooting speed and TL2 can also required 4K videos.

The TL was limited to 16MP APS-C sensor, Full HD videos and 5 fps continuous shooting speed, so if you compare both the models you will notice that TL2 features extensive upgrade compared to TL.

Nikon is working on a high-end mirrorless camera ? In an recent interview at Japanese news paper Nikon’s President Mr. Kazuo Ushida confirms that they will release a new mirrorless camera.

“Structural reform does not exclude all possibilities. In terms of product, you should also compete with medium and high-end SLR single lens reflexes. While targeting genre top, earn profits even if sales falls. Leica TL2 Leaked images surfaced over the web today, the leaked images of the camera look exactly same as of Leica TL. While you closely look both the images then you will notice minor difference, like position of shutter button etc.

Canon 7D Mark III Coming Q2 of 2018 and more...

According to latest rumors Canon 7D Mark III camera will arrive on arrive Q2 of 2018 with improved video specification (including 4K). Canon 7D Mark II was announced on Photokina 2014 with a decent core specification that can impress any still shooter, but the video was limited to Full HD mode only which was a big disappointment among those who create films and shoot videos. Being limited to Full HD mode is obliviously a big lag for a $1.5K professional APS-C camera, Since other professional APS-C sensor based systems like Nikon D500 and Sony A6xxx do offer 4K video to users.

The news isn’t limited to Canon 7D Mark II successor only, Canon 80D successor Canon 90D likely to be arrive at CP+ trade show in February. Specification of the Canon 90D camera isn’t Known yet, According to tipster of rumor mill Canon 90D will arrive before Canon 7D Mark III.

Nikon France Confirms they are Working on Next Gen of Compacts

While talking to “Chasseurs d’Images” French Mag Nikon France President confirms that Nikon is working on next generations of compacts to compete against smartphones.

Nikon did not stop producing the 810 camera

I feel the first point is bit doubtful since major retails outlets (B&H Store, Amazon.fr) listed S810c camera as no longer available

2. Nikon has plenty “good quality sensors”

They do have good contact with third-party sensor maker(s) And at the same time we agree that DXO Lab DSLR test score tables are dominated by Nikon DSLRs.
