As the announcement date is coming to closer more and more details about the Canon G1X Mark III camera is being revealed. According to the trusted sources of veteran rumor mill, the upcoming g1x Mark III camera is actually a EOS M5 fused with fixed lens. The Canon EOS M5 camera uses 24 megapixel CMOS DPAF autofocusing sensor. If the rumor is correct then we will going to witness a completely new compact camera with extraordinary image quality. The camera will have 24 MP APS-C DPAF sensor powered by DIGIC 7 processor. Rest of the specification is still unknown.
