Olympus Announces Stylus SZ-16 and SZ-15 compacts camera, both camera features 24X optical Zoom, SZ-16 iHS is based around a 16MP CMOS sensor, allowing it to offer 1080p video, SZ-15 makes do with a 16MP CCD sensor, restricting it to 720p video capture, The SZ-16 iHS uses Olympus’ previous-generation TruePic V processor, while the SZ-15 uses an older TruePic III+ chip.

New Lenses
Alongside the new Nikon 1 System cameras, Nikon also announced the addition of two new 1 NIKKOR lenses, the 6.7-13mm f/3.5-5.6 and 10-100mm f/4-5.6.
Price
The Nikon 1 J3 camera with the 10-30mm lens will be available in February 2013 for the suggested retail price (SRP) of $599.95. Additionally, the Nikon 1 S1 camera with the 11-27.5mm lens will be available in February 2013 for the suggested retail price (SRP) of $499.95. To match consumers’ personalities and creativity, the J3 will come in a variety of stylish colors including White, Black, Silver, Burgundy and Beige, while the S1 will come in White, Black, Red, Pink and Khaki.

Pentax today announces its first pro compact camera with 12.0 megapixels 1/1.7″ (7.44 x 5.58 mm) CMOS sensor, ISO range 100-12800, 4X optical zoom lens with F1.8-2.5 aperture range, Contrast Detect AF system, Full HD video recording at 30 fps and flip-out 920k dot rear screen.
