Nikon D810 production ended and Nikon is finally preparing to announce successor of the ultra popular Nikon D810 camera. Based on the information we have received from anonymous sources two different prototypes of Nikon present among us with 50+MP sensor (source here) and one with 70-80MP sensor (source here).
If we talk about Nikon professional DSLRs, yes they do test more than 1 prototype of DSLRs with different core specification. At the moment we have caught info about only two, there is also possibility more than two mock-up exist in the wild.
Before the arrival of Nikon D810 successor we are seeing price cut on D810 body, more price cut is expected in next few months if D810 demand goes down.

The official samples of the Pentax KP camera is now out. As Pentax promised the camera is able to shoot images upto 819200 ISO, well it’s quite high and but surprisingly none of the samples images are even captured at ISO 6400.
The only one sample we caught capture at ISO 3200 is the sample below, while looking at 100% scale the image look impressive and color noise of the image is very well controlled. (High Resolution samples links at last)
Pentax KP announced today and the specification camera features isn’t a surprise for our regular readers since we are the first website to tell you the Pentax KP Can see in Dark, Features ISO Sensitivity of 819200.
Pentax KP core specification secures it place to be called one of the best APS-C sensor DSLRs to be present at moment. We have no obligation to say that the KP is fully capable to compete against the Nikon D500 and Canon 7D Mark II.
But the biggest fallback of the camera is it doesn’t carry 4K video recording mode. Even as a Still photographer I want a full capable camera in my hand. I don’t want technology should limit my creativity.
Sensor
The Pentax KP camera features newly developed 24 megapixels CMOS sensor and powered by PRIME IV Image processor. The combo allows Pentax KP to boost ISO 819200, even 1 stop more than Sony A7S II camera.
5 axis IS II
The Pentax KP is the first APS-C DSLR to feature 5-Axis Shake Reduction System. The 5 axis IS system work horizontal and vertical shift, roll, as well as pitch and yaw. The camera allow you to use shutter speed as much as five shutter steps down then the standard one.
Pixel Shift Resolution
The other big features is pixel shift resolution that creates big composite files of super resolution images. The camera system uses sensor shake mechanism to create high MP files on the go.
A lot more
original AA filter simulator, Compact, portable body perfect for snapshots, with a weather-resistant structure for harsh outdoor shooting
The KP will be available in your choice of silver or black in late February for $1099/£1099 body-only.
We know that Camera and Photo Imagine Show 2017 is on next month and we are expecting some BIG announcements from Sony from the beginning of Feb 2017. According to latest information the Sony is rumored to announce a high-end mirrorless camera in next few months along-side with Sony A7III camera and new Sony G lenses.
Before we begin, if we believe on a tipster of a reputed rumor mill then we have the following announcement schedule from Sony

Second event

New High-end Camera from Sony is expected to announce soon. Just take a look at the rumored specification of the camera that was surfaced a while ago

The camera is rumored to feature a super resolution sensor and improved image stabilization.
If we look at some old post Sony japan mangers told us that Sony A7R III is coming with a 70-80 MP sensor [source]. So, at the end on thing is very clear that Sony A7R III was the camera to have a 70-80MP CMOS Sensor, if Sony changes the name or series it’s their choice and they are free to do that. But, till April 4th, 2016 A7R III was scheduled to arrive with a high resolution sensor.
Other than 70-80MP rumor is Sony also testing a 54MP FF CMOS Sensor prototype. The detailed specification not available yet.
Sony A7S III Coming with New Sensor
No one is daring to talk about Sony’s next Low Light King specification. We expect Sony will use a completely new sensor based on back-illuminated full-frame sensor technology. The tech will allow Sony increase the resolution as well as ISO sensitivity of the camera upto 3 to 4 stops.
We now have the full specification of the upcoming Pentax KP camera. But, before we begin to dig the specification the first thing that caught my eye is it’s immense ISO range offered by Pentax KP that starts from ISO 100 and goes upto 819200.
It’s very clear that Pentax is ready to drop a bombshell on 26, 2017. By having a ISO sensitivity of 819200 it just stands behind the Nikon $2K APS-C flaghip camera Nikon D500.
The Pentax Sensor is capable to record Stills and Full HD videos even in 0.27 to 1.0 lux. The pentax camera can capture high-quality images of things the human eye cannot see.
