Nikon Japan is running a cashback program for Nikon Z6 camera and that’s why from past one month we have seen a big boom in the sales ranking of Nikon Z6 camera. On the third place we have Canon EOS R camera.

Nikon registered a new camera at wireless certification agency at the model code of that camera is N1834. Now we have a total of 5 cameras registered at wireless certification agency and waiting to be announced.

Based on the financial results for the period from April to June 2019. Nikon operating profit is now down to 50%. In the consolidated financial results for the April-June period 2019 announced by Nikon on the 6th of this month [August 2019]. The company’s net profit decreased by 50% year-on-year to 8.2 billion yen.
The Total sales of interchangeable lens cameras, including mirrorless cameras, decreased by 21% to 450,000 units.
Mr. Masashi Oka said, “The digital camera market is getting worse and the business performance in the second quarter and thereafter is becoming more uncertain.”

According to the latest reports coming from trusted sources Nikon Registered 4 New Cameras at Wireless Certification agency. Unfortunately other than model code, Japanese sources doesn’t have much information.

Recent reports suggest Nikon is planning for a Development announcement at the end of November 2019. Most probably a Professional Grade Flagship camera, Nikon D6 or Nikon Z9 is coming for sure.

And that’s why probably they are working on new sensor heatsink units to enhance the performance of the upcoming DSLRs camera.
