Now if we look at the specification comparison table , we can clearly see that

Nikon showing its camera in CES show booth (#14916, Central Hall), the camera is said to be successor of Nikon D4 DSLR.
The Nikon D4s is not D5, so you will not notice any major upgrade in image quality, the design part is also some-how similar the major difference that we will see in specifications
1. Better AF System – you may get more AF points + with more cross-type focus sensors
2. New Image Processor – New image processor may improve continuous shooting speed and JPEG output (Better JPEG only if they also implement new RAW processing algo with new image processor)
The new DSLR will sure attract professional sports, Wildlife shooters and photojournalists.

It’s look like Nikon is fully prepared for new product(s) announcement from the beginning of 2014, the Nikon 1 J series flagship model J3 is discontinued today, according to sources Nikon D4 availability is also low + nikon pro service Japan stopped selling new bodies of Nikon D4 DSLR through their equipment exchange program,
and Starting January 5th, 2014 Nikon will remove the following discontinued cameras from their MAP pricing

- Nikon 1 J3

Nikon Rumored Products Coming on 2014
1. Nikon V3 Coming on CES 2014 – Nikon 1 V3 mirrorless camera coming in CES 2014, the upcoming camera will feature probably new sensor, the upcoming camera will design similar to Nikon P7800 pro-compact camera
2. Nikon D3300 – expected to announce in early 2014 and I think CES is the best place to announce new products worlddwide.
3. Big Sensor compacts from Nikon also expected to arrive in Q1 of 2014. (we are talking about 1 inch sensor compact camera)
4. There is also a probability of announcement of new D4s/D4x camera. More megapixels combined with super speed.

Why people are talking about a affordable DF when we already have Nikon D610 and D800 DSLR? Since Nikon DF is not a part of current series of Nikon DSLRs…..and it is possible if Nikon DF become successful Nikon may announce more products related to DF series in future.
