Canon 90D is the best Camera when we compare the 4K video modes of both the camera. With Nikon Z5 you get 1.7x crop in 4K video mode which literally makes the 4K video mode of the Nikon Z5 camera un-usable. So, if you are into videography buy Canon 90D camera.
As usual Canon 90D features a perfect Var-angle Display screen and an un-cropped 4K video mode. But, unfortunately, Nikon Z5 camera features tilting display unit and un-usable 4K video recording mode.

Canon 90D features a very dense AF system fabricated with more than 5K AF points on the other side we have Nikon Z5 with 273 AF points. But, Nikon improved it’s AI tracking dramatically in this Camera and AF speed and face and eye tracking almost same as Canon’ DPAF System.

I love the Display of the Canon 90D camera. The Vari-angle display of the camera actually helps a lot while you are composing images as well as when you are creating content for youtube. BTW, Nikon Z6 features a high-quality EVF, and Canon 90D uses a traditional Optical viewfinder. The choice is yours.

If u will use an external recorder like Atmos (or any other) to record 4K videos (Since 8K limited to internal recorder only). Then you can record your videos for more than 1hour + without any issues. The Heat generation problem occurring in Canon EOS R5 camera due to CF express card slots.

NoLife Youtube channel was the first to point out this strange phenomenon, for the test they have used external power source and an external recorder. It was very clear that Canon EOS R5 camera image processor and sensor generate a minimal amount of heat and he was able to record 4 hours of Videos.
After noLife others also started testing out the camera, Carlos Quintero only removed the CF express card of the camera and kept the battery inside. He was able to record over an hour + HQ 4K video.

Wild rumors, According to the latest rumor surfaced over the web Canon is actively working on upgrading the G3X Mark II camera. No details about the core specs since the camera is still in the development stage, but as per rumors, we will have a brand new sensor, blazing fast AF, and improved zoom lens with 4K video and OIS up to 4.5 stops and Active IS mode.
If everything goes on schedule, we may see the Canon G3X Mark II camera in the first half of 2021.
