We have already told you earlier that Canon 7D mark II will arrive in 2014, now according to new rumors surfaced over the web….
1. Canon 7D Mark II will not use 70D sensor, we may see new sensor in 7D Mark II
2. Possible announcement in Q2 of 2014.
3. The camera will be bit video oriented, so Canon is trying to attract Still shooters + Videographers.
The information look reasonable, because my experience say that Canon always implement used sensor in lower-end models, for example Canon will use Canon 70D sensor in its 750D model and so-on. For 7D mark II I also expect a new sensor + new image processing engine + a number of decent features that will probably make a 70D users to buy 7D Mk II DSLR.

Canon surprised us by sending invites to journalist for a pro event in Germany, the professional event will start from oct 12th in Berlin, the image above you can see is of Canon 1 Series body without any name and with a Q icon / logo in the center.
Why Canon surprised us? we have published a rumor that according to other websites Canon won’t announce anything BIG this year (see here), It’s true also since Canon already announced 100D / SL1, 700D and 70D this year . The Canon 5D Mark IV and 2D X (1DX successor) expected to arrive after 2014, the only camera due for update is 7D, So we may see 7D Mk II camera in Q1 of 2014.
+ Canon is working on Medium Format camera and but they will not announce it until the new system is fully developed with Big bunch of High Quality Lenses, however the rumored date of new system announcement is Photokina 2014.
the only pro camera that may arrive in 2013 is 7D Mark II, but chances are less than 50%.
About Canon Big sensor Compact – Canon may take its time, but we have hint that Canon is testing Big Sensor compact camera and we will sure see some big announcement in Q1 of 2014.
Finally the image above if of BIG machine with a stylish Q logo, Canon may start a new breed professional products… (Still or Video it’s not clear), so hope for the best and keep your finger crossed.
