Finally EOS M4 rumors hitting the web and hence we can expect Canon EOS M4 is coming in 2016 with advance core specification compared to the current Canon EOS M3. The source also added that Canon will also announce multiple zoom and price lenses in 2016.

A portion of the interview of Canon Managing Director Published before the announcement of Canon 5DSR camera.
Take a look at the interview (published on September 25th, 2014)
Masaya Maeda, the Managing Director and Chief Executive, Image Communication Products Operations confirmed that Canon is working on serious mirrorless camera system other than EOS-M
Currently no Canon camera offers more than 22MP. Do your DSLR customers ask for higher resolution? Maeda: Yes. We know that many of our customers need more resolution and this is under consideration. In the very near future you can expect us to show something in terms of mirrorless and also a higher resolution sensor.
We have already seen the Canon 5DS and 5DS R DSLR with super resolution 50MP fullframe sensor..what left is Canon Fullframe Mirrorless Camera.
According to a article published over famous rumor mills the Canon 5D Mark IV announcement is at-least 6 months away from now. It is expected that Canon will announce Canon 1DX Mark II before the announcement of Canon 5D Mark IV camera and if it’s true than Canon will sure wait to get a sufficient sales volume of Canon 1DX Mk II.
We do hope this time Canon will bring out advance phase AF module compared to its old 61 point phase AF module/sensor used inside Canon 1DX and 5D Mark III. The other most important feature we are waiting is introduction of Dual-pixel CMOS AF technology in fullframe still camera, however Canon already implemented Dual-pixel CMOS fullframe AF sensor inside its C300 Mark II Cinema announced on 8, April 2015.
Take a look at the AF speed of Canon Fullframe Dual-pixel CMOS AF sensor below.

It’s look like Canon is fully per-pared to announce the firmware update of its flagship Canon 1DX camera. It’s a fact and not a rumor since according to a Canon 1DX user and dforum.net forum member PSNet he found firmware 2.0.8 installed on his camera after coming back from Canon professional service. However the user didn’t discuss about improvements included in the latest version of the firmware update.
We have to keep in mind that after a major firmware update of Canon 7D [see our post published, on June 28th, 2012] camera Canon took almost two years to announce Canon 7D Mark II camera.
Will the upcoming firmware update can delay the announcement date of Canon 1DX Mark II camera ?
However at this moment I don’t expect the upcoming firmware will bring any major changes in the core specification of the camera and it will only fix minor bugs related to new / wide angle lenses. Hence you don’t have to worry about the delay of Canon 1DX Mark II camera, it will arrive before Q1 of 2016.
We don’t know the credibility of the rumor but we have seen the same rumor posted by various rumor mills and users of forums worldwide so we have finally decided to put it on our website too.
