MELVILLE, N.Y., September 1, 2016 – Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, announced today the XC15 4K Video Camcorder, a 4K UHD digital video camcorder for professional use that achieves high-image quality with a lightweight, compact body.
The new Canon XC15, which builds on the XC10 4K UHD digital video camcorder announced in April 2015, enables shooting with an external microphone through an XLR input and features the selection of visual-expression “Look” modes, including modes that allow it to match the look of other Canon professional cameras, making it ideal for use as a “B”-camera as well as for media and video-content productions.
The Canon XC15 ships with the MA-400 microphone adapter that, when attached, enables shooting with XLR-input microphones used in a wide range of media and content-creation applications. As a result, the camcorder supports the production of content that combines both high-image quality and high-sound quality with reduced noise. The MA-400 is also compatible with the EOS C300 Mark II camera.
Thanks to its high-sensitivity one-inch CMOS sensor and DIGIC DV 5 image processing platform with high calculation-processing power, the new XC15 is capable of capturing high-image quality and low-noise 4K UHD video. Additionally, the camcorder features a compact, lightweight body design, measuring approximately 5.0 x 4.1 x 4.8 inches (WxHxD) and weighs approximately 2.1 pounds while also sporting a 10x optical zoom lens1, which facilitates shooting in confined spaces and environments that demand mobility.

We are getting a lot of question by users – Should they buy Canon G1X Mark II or wait for Canon G1X Mark III ? Well as we all know that Canon updates its compacts camera in every one or two years. So we can expect a new camera soon since the update of G1X Mk 2 is overdue.
Canon G1X Mark II was announced on Feb, 12th 2014. The age of the current camera is approx 2 years, 6 months. But, if we look at the Canon G1X product life cycle it was only 2 year and 1 month. It directly means Canon G1X Mark III announcement is inevitable.
We have received some information in past, but it’s a very long gap and we haven’t got any rock solid information related to G1X Mk3 from our sources or other rumor mills.
We expect Canon will announce Canon G1X Mark III camera in Photokina event or in the first quarter of 2017. Canon also working on APS-C sensor based compact camera and we may see few big surprises in near future.

Sony 9, A9, Medium format information leaked today. And according to the tipster the upcoming Sony Fullframe cameras will have the advance core specification and 400point based AF system, but keep in mind that what we are discussing here is not coming from a trusted source so take it with a grain of salt.
Starting from medium format – The upcoming Sony medium format camera rumored to feature 50 MP medium format sensor (sensor codename MX 1621). The sensor is expected to be same as we have seen in the hasselblad X1D medium format mirrorless camera.
Now let’s talk about upcoming fullframe camera from Sony
The Sony A9 camera is rumored to have a 24 megapixel newly developed FF sensor with 400 AF points that will cover the entire display screen of the camera and will help you to track the fastest moving subject in no time. The camera also features burst modes of 14 FPS that is more than enough for a professional user. The ISO sensitivity of the camera is also very high that ranges between 50 to 204800.

After the announcement of Hasselblad X1D the camera, Fuji managers said that they are keeping eye on the market and also hinted that the will satisfy everyone in future.
