Canon working on a new type of heat dispense / Sink unit, you can see the structure of Canon hand grip that appears on the patent document shows as a dedicated heat sink unit inside. That will manage the heat produced by the camera body itself to avoid the over heating condition.
The new type of Heat sink system can be used in upcoming Canon 1DX Mark III or Canon 5D Mark V camera. Also see Canon Advance Display patent

With the ever changing demand in the photography industry. It is required to develop more secure heat sink system, earlier heat sink system was developed with the context of still shooting in the DSLR. But nowadays DSLR being used as multipurpose cameras, they also record 4K videos and at the same time with the help of dual pixel CMOS autofocusing system they keep track of subject all the time, so for all this activity requires very heavy amount of processing inside the camera and in-turn there’s a lot of heat generated by the image Digic processors, that should be managed by the camera system inside

A new patent surfaced over the web that shows Nikon is working on Phase Detect Autofocus Sensor. However we have published several patent in past that shows Nikon is actively working to bring Phase AF sensor inside DSLRs and Mirrorless.

Canon Latest Patent reveled that Canon is working 400mm F5.6 Lens for APS-C DLRS ? If you look at the translated text of the original japans patent it look like the upcoming 400mm F5.6 lens could be first Telephoto zoom lens for Canon crop sensor DSLRS.
CANON filed patent of 400 mm F5.6 reflex-mirror lens with an electrochromic ND filter for APS-C DSLR camera.

Take a look at the detailed set of specification surfaced over the web. Panasonic GH5s (S for sensitivity) is finally coming with 10.2 MP Sensor and 12 frames per second continuous shooting speed. If the specs is correct then GH5s will become the first M4/3 format camera to touch theISO 102,400 Mark.

It’s look like Canon is working on new generation of lens Adapters. If you look at the details translated from Japanese its says “second light amount adjustment unit “. That may indicate, the upcoming lens adapter may come with built-in advance iris control while using EF / EF-S Lens to EOS M Mount.
Take a look at the details below.
An adapter is attachable between an interchangeable lens including a first light amount adjustment unit capable of changing a passing area of image pickup light, and a camera main body including an image pickup element. The adaptor includes: a second light amount adjustment unit capable of changing transmittance of the image pickup light by using a change in a physical property; and a controller controlling the second light amount adjustment unit. In image pickup mode, the controller controls the transmittance in the second light amount adjustment unit depending on an operating amount of an operation unit by a user to adjust a light amount, and in the image pickup mode, the controller converts an instruction, transmitted toward the interchangeable lens from the camera main body, to drive the first light amount adjustment unit, into a drive completion signal, and transmits the drive completion signal to the camera main body.
